  1. It does reflect the popularist vote, true. Difficult to predict what will happen but I tend to think further fragmentation is a negative.
  2. Well true, shows Corbyn in a bad light though. Anything that Reform voters believe you need to take the inverse of
  3. I hope it does become an issue with YT. Cos then I can justify to the wife getting a full VPN without severe eye brow raising.
  4. I've just seen how young they look. You're right. Those crazy Japanese or Koreans whatever.
  5. Is that a pink dildo in her hand? Apologies if this is not allowed any more.
  6. Are we becoming the new Skunkers?
  7. At least when you get points on your driving license they eventually expire. On NO your points NEVER expire!
  8. Used to play this Geoff Crammond F1 game on the PC, back in the days when Damon Hill and Schumacher were competing. Amazing graphics for the time, felt almost photorealistic (probably look crap by modern standards). Anyway, Spa was my favourite track.
  9. Looks from the colour scheme like it could be Pattinson's branding.
  10. Yeah, and then followed up with: "Mind, her husband was a sucker too, and I don't mean he gave good blow jobs".
  11. Remember when they put up Callum Wilson somewhere near Wetherby or North Yorkshire somewhere and he just decided to stay there?
  12. I had that exact same thought.
  13. Waste of an hour or so? No it wasn't.
  14. I'm not supporting it. I am objecting to your condemnation ofnparents and putting all the onus of them. At the same time, I do think porn and SM are an issue for kids we need to take seriously l. Clearly this isn't the answer though.
  15. There's nowhere near enough desks for the civil service and NHS now either.
  16. I've just found out Opera has an inbuilt VPN. Always loved that browser.....
  17. I agree SM is the biggest concern, am not bothered about the porn so much except it will force me to subsribe to a VPN I guess for a small cost I'm guessing. If you have a VPN already I'm surprised by how animated you appear to be on this tbh. But just try taking phones away from kids man. Not gonna happen. Our school is banning them from next year though which is something at least. But outside of that they rely on it the same way adults do. A kid without a phone is a kid without a social network, bith physically and virtually. The genie's out the bottle.
  18. Well I dunno, blame the parents is a common trope used by a lot of daily mail reading grand parents.
  19. So essentially you say don't change anything? Cos as you say, parents can forego access to any over 18 site ia ISP already, should they choose to and know how. Unsurprisingly, very few parents want to or are able to do this. Which then leaves the issues of child protection untackled. So I'm assuming you don't have an issue with unfettered internet access and it's implications, such as highlighted by Adolescence? That's fine, but I disagree. I'm not saying the current legislation is the right approach, but children's MH is a massive concern to me and I completely disagree its the fault of parents. That sounds like something from the Daily Mail.
  20. Its alright to risk my data though, just because I'm a parent? The point of this is it's universal, so kids will need to age verify. If you leave it to those irresponsible parents as you put it, many will not be able to enact those controls and many just won't. So kids from blocked households will just go to those who aren't. Or finfld other ways. I mean, as I said, I'm not that bothered about the porn aspect so much, more the rest of the shit in social media which is definitely having a negative impact on kids and is definitely not my fucking fault. Maybe that's a separate issue but leaving the internet as the wild west will inevitably damage children and yes, that massively concerns me.
  21. Okay, well, unsurprisingly I disagree. Yes, I want too keep my own access to porn but also you're right there are other sites it would block. What I would personally support is age verification linked to a government ID card. Unidirectional so the government does not have to know what you are subscribing to. I believe in age restriction for porn, alcohol etc. I also now believe in ID cards which we already have de facto in passports and driving licences.
  22. Parental controls on Google, Apple and Microsoft are not easy to use, and there are many ways a savvy kid can bypass them. Having very different systems in place with different functionality makes it more difficult. Many parents arent equipped to do this. You can block at the ISP level can be done, but that blocks everything out for the entire household and doesn't allow for age verification. What age verification does is separate appropriate content out between adults and children. Surely you would agree this is the correct thing to do, even if you don't agree on how it's implemented?
  23. Urghhh. Ahh, remember the days of serial athleticism where you could jism over your shoulder? Now it's barely a thimblefull making its way past my thumb...
