Fair enough. I was there today and just think we played brilliantly start to finish. Leicester didn't set out to look poor, in actual fact their fans were in good fettle. They weren't a bad team. We just clicked and blew them away. Mackems often portray our successes due to our opponents weaknesses. Today we fucked Leicester, they couldn't stop us. And I loved it. I think we should give ourselves more credit sometimes.

Not singling out you mate, but fuck me, how mackemesque is this talk.?

To pay for this new "Northumberland" line to Ashington, Nexus are increasing their travel Cap next week from £5 to £6.20. A 20% increase in my travel costs then. As its up to me how much I go in, I'll just drop from 2 days a week to once, so nexus will lose out. This alongside the £3 bus fare cap is just a deterrent to office working for those who have the choice. Genius. Transport in this country is a fucking joke.

This is why I won't associate with the posse any more.

I got it from John Lewis with £200 off, free fitting, and free frames (these are magnetic clip bezel frames which give the appearance of a genuine painting - they haven't arrived yet and cost £70 normally). Think it was about £750 all in for a 43 inch TV which is as big as would fit on a chimney breast. I'd not recommend trying the fitting yourself as it took two fitters 1.5 hours to sort ours out. Reckon in would have been north of £1200 without any offers which is not cheap for a 43 inch telly like.

Fairly sure I am just recovering from it now. Headache, swollen joints, fever, shivers, lung issues but nose clear so didn't feel like a typical cold. A lot of my work have come down with it since the Xmas party. I had the jab so that prottects you but like the covid one doesn't necessarily stop you getting it.

Thank christ for that.

Hmmm, therer's money to be had from mugs, just ask CT. I mean the thing is this is marketed as liquid death. How about we band together and make a brand where there is some real jeopardy? Source our water near some drain in Pennywell and call it Cholera water? Great for weight loss too if it doesn't kill you.

Or waiting for the right time? I don't think there was anything to be gained making the argument before the GE. 2025 will be the right time imo, with the election of Trumo and potential trade wars. No more Reeves platitudes from now on please, lets start a a proper discussion.

FAO @Rayvin. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/dec/12/majority-of-brexit-voters-would-accept-free-movement-to-access-single-market-uk-eu?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other Must admit, if the majority of Brexit voters would accept FoM, seems like it is now time for Starmer to at least introduce this into the conversation. Simply ignoring Reform isn't working, they need to be taken head on and as a bonus it would be good for the tories to nail themselves to that mast again. I'm not as critical of Starmer as others are, I see how difficult things are. But now is the time TO MAKE THE ARGUMENT YOU SON OF A TOOLMAKER.

I was wondering that. He's been in Brighton too long. Talking about himself in the third person and referring to himself as a woman. Probably become a pantomime Dame when he's not driving the buses.

It's scary where these deep fakes are taking us.

Knights in polyester would be even better.

I mean, I am sometimes a bit dubious about my "photoshopping" skills but this takes it to another level. The Knight Ryder has no corporeal body, he has transcended this World to join Bobby Robson beyondthe Pearly Gates.

Think you've understated how amusing the opening post is marra. Of course Musk will buy them, he's a MLF! Also 29 pages of this insanity!

Not me I hope. The images literally look like an oil painting, with the brush strokes having a 3D appearance. It's not a simple screen saver.

Cut the phone lines? Fucking hell Grand dad.

There's 4 of us. Having two TVs is hardly over the top. This is the secondary one, perfectly comfortable to view from where the sofa is, and now I have a space for a desk. No TVs elsewhere in the house, although tbh I much would rather the kids watched TV in their room or played games than the social media shit they get up to.
-
Yeah, and do those oil painting change to over 3000 different ones and can you watch telly on them? It's nice to have a room without an obvious TV in it, and I can now put my work desk where the TV used to be so finally have a study.
-
Yeah, its a 5 metre clear optical cable, with power, that feeds into a box with all the usual inputs kept out the way. The TV quality is fine for my needs like, but you can definitely get better pictures in the the same price range. It's still 4k and as there is no glare its better suited to a bright room. Not that most people even need 4k unless they live in a mansion with a 65 inch TV (this one is 43 inch, perfect for the room size imo). Most modern TVs have resolutions above what the human eye can distinguish.
