Hughie Gallacher scoring the winner against Sunderland at SJP on the way to securing the league title

Staying above Arsenal is fuck all compared to playing with a chance to win the league though.

It's not that far-fetched. It makes perfect sense.

Perhaps not the full, unexpurgated story though

It was really depressing like. It was awful seeing her and the way she'd basically just given up and resigned herself to killing herself with drink.

I was already staying for an extra night, so I win.

Should've just put one in the poo and left the goo well alone

I wondered what had happened to Zelda off Terrahawks.

It's almost exactly the same as the situation that saw us bring Shearer in who also got a canny wedge (not to mention his unpaid bonus if he'd managed to keep us up). We've been here before. I'd like to think there's a change in policy though, obviously. All that aside though, you were suggesting it was Charnley's doing. It clearly wasn't

Aye, basically. If Spurs draw they can only get to 78 points. Leicester would only need 3 points from their last 3. Think Chelsea will try and stop Spurs winning it too. Spurs have gone on a fantastic run but you'd think there's a slip up (even if they only draw a game) coming.

Obviously some of the resorts aren't but Corfu is lush. Paxos/Anti-Paxos and Parga are worth day trips too if you get a bit bored just lying around the pool.

One that stands out for me just for the sheer explosion of emotion in that moment is Rob Lee's equaliser v Chelsea at Wembley. The place went fucking mental

The odd thing is that the best sides Arsenal have had under Wenger had that steel and nastiness about them. He inherited the famous back 4/5 but he signed Vieira and Petit. The later 'invincibles' still had Vieira and the likes of Gilberto Silva, Lauren and Ljunberg. The latter 3 were all good players he signed but it's difficult to imagine him signing players like that for them now and their exactly the sorts of players the team needs. I agree with what's been said about some Arsenal fans to an extent but, at the same time, I think their should be serious questions asked about how they aren't in the running for the league in this of all seasons. There's been so little (if any) progress from the team in recent years.
