Fair play to him. He's absolutely spot on about the media destroying and misrepresenting anyone who speaks out against the status quo as well. As said nearly as soon as this happened it would be used in some way as an excuse for further military action and within a day or two they were on about bombing ISIS in Syria.

Who do you play instead of Bell? I think he's probably on borrowed time a bit but seeing as KP isn't going to get picked I don't think there's too many knocking on the door.
-
They're going back to that from now on (I think), i.e. every four years home and every 4 years away.

Probably better suited to the English game anyway.

On that criteria Sibierski was a good player. Miles of difference between doing it there and in the PL. He's got a bit of ability but he had loads more time on the ball in the early rounds in Europe. But perhaps McClaren can get something out of them. Would've said the same about Sammy in fairness. At least he's signed a new two year deal. Loads of players seemed to stagnate under the last lot (especially young players who showed some early promise).

Should be playing for England with that criteria. Good start like Not just saying this because I don't think we'll win but I do feel it has devalued The Ashes a little bit by playing too often recently. I understand why it's been done (to avoid a clash with an Ashes winter for England and a World Cup straight after, plus the cricket authorities not wanting too big a gap between series) but still...

Doesn't really work like that as someone has to want to loan them. Tend to agree that (in Shane's case anyway) it would be nice to see what some decent coaching might produce. Marveaux would need a trip to the Wizard of Oz though.

Would love to go to Cordoba but Granada is well worth the trip.

Not the only thing you and Mama Cass have in common

Fancy 3-1 to the Aussies too. Happy to be proven wrong though

I usually fall asleep on it and wake up when it's nearly time to get up anyway. Does wonders for my ageing back

Like the 5 year plan, only more transparent

I've seen a Cassowary in the wild. It didn't have the bottle to start on me though.

As Keegan quickly spotted, he's better suited playing in the middle but has suffered a bit from his versatility and just getting on with it when asked to play full back or wherever. Wish him all the best because of the way he handles himself on and off the pitch.
