I think it's a good idea to pick Bairstow. They've obviously fancied him as a player for a good while and he's in unbelievable form. Averaging over 100 in first class cricket iirc (in Div 1 as well).

Re: 80s stuff, used to love the RHCP back then, before they went shit. Think up to about Blood Sugar Sex Magik they were canny good. Used to love a bit of U2 as well. Must be about 20-odd years since they've released owt I thought was decent though.

Leave him alone, he's found his niche

Can you post the first 227 of those please?
-
Love a bit of the Kinks as well.

That's a shame. The first one was quality.

I would say, because they don't have the pace of Johnson and Starc, Broad and Anderson in particular need a pitch that gives them a little bit of help in terms of lateral movement, whether that by swing or seam. So I don't think there's a problem with the attack in 'normal English conditions' but the Lord's pitch offered them nothing. They didn't bowl anywhere near as well as the opposition but I think it's a good bowling attack. Perhaps the option of an attacking spinner like Adil Rashid might help but it's the batting at the top of the order that's the big problem.

Got to be Thompers
-
Thompers just exudes cool.

Shush, you don't even like cricket.

David Attenborough verbatim that

He's shite like. That 'Well Good Show' he did. Fuck me I'd heard before he was a doctor. Talk about don't give up the day job.
-
Blatter looks quite upset, which is nice. Amazing how thin skinned some of these absolute twats are.
-
Solid, solid as my cock... ....was the school yard refrain iirc
-
Got to be Juan's Magic Mix of Big Fun if we're talking Inner City, Gloom (not that yours isn't a quality track). Had a bit of crush on Neneh Cherry too
-
Really like that. Reminds me of something else but I can't remember what exactly atm. Edit: bit like some DeepChord stuff but with drums.

Another 80s tune:
-
It's not really. Driving is more dangerous. I can understand the fear but it's still an irrational one given the actual risks.

They were brilliant, still listen to The Real Thing, Introduce Yourself and Angel Dust. Think they lost a little something after that. I know Jim Martin left and he think he was important to their sound, even if he seemed anachronistic in the context of his band mates.

More 80s shit:
-
I think they'll pick the same side.
-
Used to love Ministry. Faith No More were fucking mint too, if we're talking 80s shit.

And New York House / Garage, baby. Oft neglected in terms of its influence compared to it's Chicago brethren.
