I remember being sat in a clerb watching a cup final in the 80s and Paul Baker (ex of Carlisle and Hartlepool) was sat there with a cup final ticket on him. Think he was a Carlisle player at the time. It's ludicrous.

There's the corporate lot who get tickets for every Wembley event of course but the FA Cup final has always been a game where the FA distribute tickets all along the gravy train. The Northumberland FA and all the other county associations get a large allocation, etc. etc. Of course none of these end up on the black market.

Yeah, he's on very good money for probably the last time in his career even though he's only young so it's hard to blame Xisco even though it's annoying. He's struggled to get a game in the Spanish 2nd tier when he's been away on loan. I think he still has a year left after this one. As for Guthrie, Simpson, Best and so on, there's not much point in moving them on unless they're desperate to do so. Although Barcelona played well and could've had a few, as well as Messi being on the cusp of scoring a wonder goal a couple of times, I think Chelsea just about deserved their win. I think they probably needed a two-goal lead but not conceding an away goal is obviously a massive plus for them. I could see Barcelona winning 3 or 4 -1 at their place though if they put in a similar performance. I don't think Chelsea could play at that tempo on a pitch as big as the one at Camp Nou.

That Kevin Miles bloke who is a Newcastle fan from the Football Supporters Federation reckons hardly any England fans are going (only sold about 1/3 of their allocation so far) because hotels are charging £500 a night to stay in a 2 or 3 star hotel. Apparently travel between different venue cities is a bit of a pain in the arse as well.
