I gave you about 3 pages to slip that one in, Gloom

I was telling my mate I’d just been on holiday to the Caribbean with the missus. He said - Jamaica? I said - No, she went of her own accord

I saw it was on ITV and assumed as much tbf

Is the tv show worth a watch though?

Wonder what Parky was like during Covid.

Why don’t the fans club together and buy them out? Pretty sure I’ve seen that suggested elsewhere -

Yep. Also not a problem when they were the ones with a financial advantage. -
If only they’d played a competitive game or two against premier league opposition this season. So you could gauge the level they’re at more accurately
-
I mean they’re 9th in the division below. And 6th would be their highest top flight finish for (I think) 69 years. Nailed on tbh

The big 11

Best case scenario is they get into the playoffs, go up, come down, and are much better off financially in the championship. Even that’s pretty unlikely at this stage though

Apparently he left Everton last summer when his contract expired. But, if he was suspended without pay, they’d owe him a year’s salary -
Saw a post on there saying he’ll be like Chris Waddle by the time he’s 25. He was one of the best attacking players in Europe at his peak. Do they not think other clubs would notice if Clarke was anything like that good? And I’ve said on here before that I think he looks like a good player from the odd bits I’ve seen of him. But get a fucking grip.

I was going to say like, it must be 7 seasons since we played them last They’re fucking tapped. Could you imagine the reverse? There’s not a mackem alive who wouldn’t swap the 6 in a rowuh for a reversal of fortunes

Is that Windermere in the distance then? I’ve done the Kentmere Horseshoe but missed out High Street as it was late February so we’d have ran out of daylight. I’ve been up there since but it was just ticking it off really as you could see about 20 metres in front of you. The track that follows that ridge follows the route of a Roman road (hence ‘High Street’)

Mind, some of the posts about how good Jack Clarke is going to be aren’t a million miles off that. You’d think he was 17, not 22 years old. Like there’s some guarantee of exponential improvement over the next 3 years instead of being someone who struggle to make as big an impact as Jacob Murphy in the premier league

Fairfield Horseshoe? Near the summit of Fairfield. There’s actually loads of the lakes I’ve barely explored. Western and North Western Fells especially
-
It looked like Windermere (Coniston has a very similar shape) but the heights of the fells gave it away a bit. As they fall away to the south compared to the northern / Ambleside end of the lake. I’ve done Loughrigg from the Rydal Water side. I didn’t recognise the exact spot but knew the view-ish
