Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official

I don't mind the idea of us living within our means, it's the unpredictability of the owner and also his inability to maximise revenue which is an issue if that is how we're going to play it in the long run. Especially as so much then rides on the manager and how lucky we currently are in that regard -
Good point, given the wages they're on, Short will be having to offer them for nowt too. Like the club itself, I don't think there'll be loads of takers

He's like the inverse Kate Adie -
I see Haye v Bellew II is going to be PPV.

Then there's that trifling matter of the expenses.

Yeah, I think he's mentioned it before

Fucking weird way to judge a politician like, shit at their current job but used to do something else equals a thumbs up? It sounds nice in theory about the much vaunted 'real life experience' but it normally comes from shysters like Farrage who just happened to do something else before jumping on the gravy train.

Could well be discountinued if it never sold that well, I just know you can still get it and Diageo still own the distillery. You can get it here: https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/blair-athol-12-year-old-whisky/?srh=1 for example. I think the Single Malt market has changed massively since the Flora and Fauna range came in with stuff like Mortlach and Caol Ila (the latter in particular) now being heavyweights in their own right. The big companies like Diageo and Pernod Ricard and the like are always fucking about with the lesser known distilleries (especially in terms of what they release as single malts). It's understandable because it's quite a commitment to continue to age something for 10, 12, 16 years or whatever if it's not selling in the current climate. It's a pain in the arse if you're a fan of that particular whisky though.

That place looks amazing. Re: Blair Athol, I'm not sure but it's still widely available in the F&F Range. I know some of the Flora and Fauna range were discontinued because some of the distilleries had been sold but Diageo still own Blair Athol and there's no chance of them selling it because it forms such an important component in Bell's which, whatever you think of it, is still easily one of the best selling Scotch whiskies worldwide.

Would've been Johan Cruyff's 71st birthday today as well. -
I know, but you said "You can't blame May on me" and my point was that nobody was doing so or would have any reason to

Stay off the meths, Ian

Aye, I view him more like the bloke from the League of Gentlemen who was in 'The T.A.s'

That and the complete lack of any influence on the leadership election

He's not very intelligent, that's his main problem. He had absolutely no vision regarding the fallout of the leave vote he campaigned for and has no idea how to rectify the variety of problems that have arisen as a result. As payback May put him in the post which would expose this to the greatest degree. If it wasn't so important it would be poetic justice.

Does it not get exhausting being so controversial all the time?

I was saying it more with the majority of wines in mind, most of which are meant to be drunk when young (even if they have a cork stoppage). Even a screw cap will allow for some evaporation though. If you ever see old (unopened) bottles of spirits for sale online you'll note a lot have lost about 10% or more due to it. Spirits would be more prone to evaporation too though I think.

Well I think the bloke in critical condition might consider himself a victim like But you have to wonder how many more Roma fans went 'prepared' after Liverpool's antics at home in the last round.
