if they get it right this summer, i'll be the first to admit i was wrong on here and congratulate the board for investing well. really though, they haven't really done anything up until now to convince anyone on here that they will get it right this time. the fuckwit doesn't deserve another chance. most of us are rightly assuming he's going to mess it up again.

i doubt it's a massive coincidence that its two of our biggest earners in barton and enrique that could be on their way out. i suspect big mike's wanted their £60k+ a week each off the bill for a while now.

he was mint at the start of the season. it's giggs that seems to have this ability to keep on going, despite the aging engine. must be all that young totty that's keeping him going.

Dyer was brilliant for us, when fit . He was a big part of our best midfield of the last decade, since keegan's first stint actually, alongside speed with Robert and sola no out wide. Those 4 behind shearer and Bellamy were magic and dyer was a key player. Would have been an England regular if he'd stayed fit IMO.

He'd be an awesome signing. Very unlikely though.

Our incoming transfers will underwhelming. An important player will be sold on the last day of the transfer window with no time to find an adequate replacement. i can't see this happening. ashley's not going to buy a player for more money than he sold him, which he'd need to. nor is he going to offer him the going rate in wages. if he were, he would have offered enrique, barton and nolan the contracts needed to get them to resign.
