  1. that's the problem though innit. it would be just typical if the cunt tried to undo all the good work of the manager by selling colo or tiote on the last day of the window
  2. it seems some get more pleasure from seeing us lose if it means they can come on here bleating about being right about everything.
  3. what about a spa day? lasses love that shit - there are decent ones at seaham hall and matfen hall. you can be sat in a steam room while she has her nails done or whatever. then a bit of heavy petting in the jaccuzi before a romantic meal with a game of hide the sausage for desset. access to the pool and steam rooms aren't usually that expensive if you skip the treatments.
  4. isn't that wjere they go in the inbetweener's movie? not that i'm saying your experience will be anything like that mate? i was thinking more kevin and perry go large ;-)

not my cuppa tea. best cocktail for has always been the old fashioned. the original and best. a sipping spirits man like yourself should be a fan.
  6. Under the thumb tbh Massively!

dirty martinis are rank man. olive brine in a cocktail - fuck that. best olives i've ever had are sold at borough market. big fuck off green ones, pitted and stuffed with pickled garlic, red peppers, chili and herbs. different gravy tbh. harelequin olives i think they were called
  8. i'm all for the stag weekend jollies away if i'm honest. the weddings in ibiza and mallorca can do one though. not sure i'd get away with going to the stag then fucking off the wedding mind...
  9. i thought made in daggengam was a bit meh too. the wife puts it down to me not being interested in movies that feature women in the central roles. obviously rubbish - i've lost count of the amount of times i've watched weapons of ass destruction.
  10. hard not to go when it's a close mate though innit. it just seems expectations on weddings have gone up massively in the past few years. the first mate in our group to get hitched had a stag night out in london. that's a rarity now. the last 7 or 8 i've been to have all been weekenders around europe - then you've got an additional night out in london for thsoe that missed the main event, that most people go to anarl. not that i'm complaining too much like given the paucity of boys' nights out i get to these days. combine that with the increasing number of overseas weddings these days too though and you're looking at a not inconsiderable bank raid.
  11. hangover 2 was balls wasn't it. sometimes they just need to leave good films alone. unless there's a sequel that can match or better the original, don't fucking bother.
  12. seems to be the trendy thing to do doesn't it. it's an expensive game once you factor in the additional few hundred quid you have to shell aside for the fucking weekend long stag do in europe somewhere. i swear ive spent as much on mates' weddings the last few years as i have on holidays for just me and the mrs.
  13. just back from kettlebells. lord have mercy. just had a supersize nicoise salad. reckon i could do another one back to back.
  14. for all louise taylor's faults, it's nice to see the gruaniad having her covering the game from st james park and not the sports direct arena. the arseholes at sky should follow the example of a few of the broadsheets in sticking two fingers up at ashley on that one.
  15. it's only january and already we have a post of the year contender
  16. fucking infuriating isn't he, putting in a shift like he did against man u then fannying around like a big wet flannel yesterday. definitely one of the most annoying players to watch that we've had in recent years. we all know he can do it when he turns up but for every good showing you've got 4 or 5 like yesterday. fuck knows how he's won so many contracts over the years. cheap i suppose.
  17. i remember him posting on here back in the day. RIP :-(
  18. nowhere of any note this year, sadly. going to have a series of staycations thanks to spending all of our savings and then some on a new house. am going to ibiza for a wedding in may but other than that, nothing more than the odd weekend in france and italy. nothing expensive - and certainly no long hauls with the bairn
  19. behaved a bit better than last year. i enjoyed the beaver gag, and the umcomfortable looks on the famous faces
  20. even staunch royalists would find it difficult to defend this suggestion in the current economic climate. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/jan/15/queen-royal-yacht-diamond-jubilee-gove
