I agree about jonas having a class game. He spent so much time deep in his own half helping out Taylor defend but still looked dangerous when he was able to carry the ball forward. We still looked way more threatening down the left flank than the right even after the departure of Enrique. Shame Taylor isn't much of a footballer because he's got a sweet right peg. Best taker of a dead ball at the club by a country mile. Barton didn't do much today. In fact, i thought most of the midfield were poor apart from jonas. Shola and obertan both chasing shadows for most of the game. At least obertan looks to have a bit of pace about him.
-
that was too funny. they are blatantly the better side but we nick one off a set piece and fair play to the back four, they defended well.
-
they look far the better side. i'd take 0-0 at this stage happily. cabaye looks off the pace. shola feeding off scraps up front. midfield over run and giving possession away way too cheaply. they're pressing way better than us and we're resorting to long hoofs up pitch way too often. to make matters worse the setanta stream i was watching fell over and i have resorted to watching a french stream.

krul looking a solid shot stopper

some shockers both way tbf

we're more in the game now. did well to see out that opening ten minute burst from the mackems. good chance for them there mind
-
got to be odds on for one of barton or catermole to be sent off
-
fucking hell. we should have just had a pen and they should be a man down for a hand ball
-
looks like obertan is playing up front with shola so no extra man in the middle. they were three against three when they broke just then. where is our midifeld?
-
we're up against it. can't get hold of it in midfield. sunderland keep getting in behind.

cabaye giving possession away cheaply.

Anyone know of any good rivers kicking about? I haven't used a reliable one for ages.

Not really the sort of player we really want to be getting linked with, with just ten days to go until the transfer window shuts.

12 days to get a left back and striker in
Dr Gloom replied to Holden McGroin's topic in Newcastle Forum
If we signed him tomorrow would you have him in your XI for Saturday? Yes. Its funny that you think your funny I laughed. Haven't seen too many formations recently. Is the realisation that this transfer window is likey to be another massively underwhelming one kicked in? I actually hope I'm wrong and that our owners do the right thing but I'll be surprised if we get more than a new left back. -
Fucking farcical as per. Utterly predictable though

Who the fuck is this wanker?

The Search for a Striker........Chapter 11
Dr Gloom replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Thank you Dr G Can I just say I think its time you "let go" of your gloom and got a new name for this season. Something like Dr brightening up..... You could actually change it after each match to reflect our overall mood. It would also keep Leazes on his toes. Ha, good idea. Though i suspect I may be dr suicide watch after the derby... -
The Search for a Striker........Chapter 11

Ah, i agree with HF - you're quite canny really CT. You talk some nonsense and have some dodgy political views and of course you love to play the wind up merchant but you're not a bad lad really. -
Well, whatever it was, my mate was in a bad way for the best part of a year. Well he would be, what with seeing his mother get killed and all. Thats not ME, thats just being human Yeah but the difference between typical shock and depression symptoms and what she had was it was the physical side of it that did her in. Obviously she was under massive mental stress but she said it was like she had flu for a year. Couldn't get out of bed, achy joints, weak knees, trembling etc.
