  1. If we signed him tomorrow would you have him in your XI for Saturday? Yes. Its funny that you think your funny I laughed. Haven't seen too many formations recently. Is the realisation that this transfer window is likey to be another massively underwhelming one kicked in? I actually hope I'm wrong and that our owners do the right thing but I'll be surprised if we get more than a new left back.
  2. Fucking farcical as per. Utterly predictable though
  3. Who the fuck is this wanker?
  4. Thank you Dr G Can I just say I think its time you "let go" of your gloom and got a new name for this season. Something like Dr brightening up..... You could actually change it after each match to reflect our overall mood. It would also keep Leazes on his toes. Ha, good idea. Though i suspect I may be dr suicide watch after the derby...
  5. Ah, i agree with HF - you're quite canny really CT. You talk some nonsense and have some dodgy political views and of course you love to play the wind up merchant but you're not a bad lad really.

Well, whatever it was, my mate was in a bad way for the best part of a year. Well he would be, what with seeing his mother get killed and all. Thats not ME, thats just being human Yeah but the difference between typical shock and depression symptoms and what she had was it was the physical side of it that did her in. Obviously she was under massive mental stress but she said it was like she had flu for a year. Couldn't get out of bed, achy joints, weak knees, trembling etc.

I think ME can be mental illness that manifests itself through prolonged and debilitating physical symptoms though. It can be quite different in nature to post traumatic shock.
  9. Stay away from lemmington spa. I got started on last time i was out there. Shithole basically.

You sound a bit like Adrian Mole tbf with that list of symptoms like Craig. Are you sure you're not just. Mssive hypochondriac? Jokes aside, ME is no joke. If that's what it is. My friend who had it was in a car crash with her mum and her sister. Her mum died but the two sisters survived. Obviously a massive trauma like that will affect you; she was diagnosed with ME and ended up taking the best part of a year off work. Have you experienced large amounts of stress in your life? If so, a physical breakdown driven by mental illness can be just as debilitating as a nervous breakdown. Hope it turns out to be nothing too serious.
  11. Soya already decided to name her new baby 'tofu'.
  12. You're obsessed with "Gloomy", aren't you? You're not wrong. I've had him on ignore for months now and he still won't let it lie. He's convinced I've only just come around to his way of thinking with regards to ashley despite the fact he's been proved wrong on that account several times now. It's like banging your head against a brick wall with this guy, hence why I blocked him. I'm not surprised to see through others' quotes how often he brings me up though. Seething tbh.

A friend of mine had it. It's a stress related mental illness.
  14. Not sure they qualify as condiments. They're essentials as oppose to optional A condiment is basically anything that is used to flavour food. You're talking about sauces and relishes Yes, but in a restaurant the salt and pepper shakers are always on the table and not in the condiment basket, which is usually brought to the table on request. Don't fuck wit my condiment knowledge sonny jim.
  15. I'd also add that ketchup is the most over rated condiment going. Only time I have it is on a burger. Even with chips, I'd have mustard, Mayo or BBQ sauce ahead of the red stuff.
  16. Not sure they qualify as condiments. They're essentials as oppose to optional extras. 1 mustard 2 brown sauce 3 chili sauce IMO
  17. Got to agree with the mackem. It's a cringeworthy intrview.
  18. please please please stop. you are becoming a caricature of yourself
  19. Deano, you're even more deluded than I thought if you seriously think we will sign either of them. My opinion is based on ashley's holocaust of a history in recent transfer windows. What do you base your mindlessly optimistic assumptions on?
  20. Yes he is the best LB we have had in a while but how can you say he's better than anyone we bring in, in the future? Madness. I think either Pieters or M'Bengue could be better. Possibly but we aren't signing either of those players so why make the comparison? Your posts are infuriating.
  21. I'm guessing our combined wage bill now is about ten bob and a packet of regal king size
  22. No doubt. Good lefties don't grow on trees. He had a good understanding with jonas and most of our best play came down that flank. He was also very sound defensively. He will be a massive loss and I'm positive whoever replaces him will be a poorer player.
  23. Deano, what on earth makes you think we'll get any of those players in to replace him? Far more likely to get a shefki kuqi type panic buy after the window has shut. This is mike Ashley remember.
  24. Disagree, he doesn't want to sell. He wants Newcastle United to use as a huge, free, billboard for his tat business and that has been his intention all along. if that were the case you'd think he'd put more effort into keeping us in the top flight so his ads at sjp get more tv exposure. i'm convinced he'd sell up if he got the offer he wants. all this taking the club off and off the market is a smokscreen - he'd sell for the right price.
  25. yup, decent read. his intentions, sadly, are obvious. he wants to sell. he didn't do due diligence and paid way over the odds for us. but as long as no one is prepared to pay him the money he wants, he'll continue to try and get as much money back from his investment as possible. that means selling on senior players for profits, getting high earners off the wage bill and buying in mostly cheap, unproven players. like everything he does, it's a gamble. the best he can hope for is premier league consolidation but no real progression. the worst case scenario is relegation for a second time under his ownership. annoyingly for supporters, it's a gamble he seems prepared to take. the best we can hope for is a second takeover, but this time from some proper billionaires with a bit of ambition.
