they could always lower the prices a bit.

There's a piece about them in yesterday's chronicle. i can't believe they haven't changed that name like. i like what they're doing and hopefully it will result in the introduction of a singing section. are they making themselves heard these days or are they still a bit of a joke? http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcast...-name_page.html

we're stuck with him. i have it on pretty good authority that his wages are ridiculous and he won't leave unless a club matches them - which means we're stuck with him unless we're prepared to pay about half of his wages while he plays for a different club...

Random capitalisation there. FUCK off

not taking a year off between school uni and work. i've been away travelling a fair bit but my only real regrets is not going away for a year or more. now i've got a mortgage and a serious job it's not going to happen. although i do get a 4 week paid sabbatical every 4 years so it's not all bad. i went on a month long roadtrip of california this year that was pretty sweet.

quality post. and you're SO right about the length. i would have enjoyed it much more for what it was if it had been 90 minutes instead of 144 -

if you want a really disturbing mind fuck you'll struggle to find anything better than eraserhead. most other david lynch films fall into this category too. i'd also recommend jacob's ladder and pi (greek symbol thingy directed by darren aronofsky) -
me too. he'll need replacing an all
-
is this faye any good? can't be worse than amdy tbf

shite heart lane sounds almost as quiet as st james

batter bits are rank. that's pure grease man. you can get curry sauce and gravy in the east end. not many good chippys near me mind. they're mostly chinese or dodgy kebab shops

London is so big that I think almost anyone could find a place they liked. I lived there for 7 years and while there is plenty to dislike, there's no place like it. Newcastle is a cracking city with pretty much everything you could need...but for London has everything you could WANT too. Apart from decent fish and chips, or any other decent northern food. there's decent chippies plus pie and mash shops in the east end. i agree that they're scarce elsewhere.

some of the criticisms of london are "wide of the mark" (Alan Oliver™) it's got its shithole areas but so have most big cities - the toon included. too many geordies make as many dodgy generalisations about london life as the "it's grim up north" and "howay spuggy man" southern arseholes. i live in east dulwich which is zone 2 and about half an hour door to door from where i work. it's got two lush parks within walking distance of my front door, tree-lined steets, decent football bars plus gastro pubs. and last time i checked there wasn't a cloud of smog hanging in the air or a gang of guitar playing, purse-snatching immigrants on my street corner . too many of my own mates from back home slag off london when all they're basing it on is a few beers near a shithole football like west ham or white heart line and night out in leicester square. it really isn't that bad.

heskey? fuck off
