He still cost £11 million though. 178753 Martins and Kuyt will likely cost us £10m each. And Berbatov has had a full, goal-scoring pre-season with his team mates. 178761 Don't panic. So did Luque. 178794 Last season? 178825 i thought he was joking

he's no stevie carr

good player. shame he can't play up front like
-
i predict a couple of last week of the window panic buys

i actually prefer the craic on this place but it can be like a morgue at times compared with over there.

weird

apparently i'm banned from NO but i haven't a clue why anyone else ever been banned from over there? i get this message whenever i try and post and honestly can't tell you what it means or why they've decided to ban me. anyone got any ideas? baffled.com

villa rejects now is it? how depressing
-
£7m seems a good price. i expected his world cup goals to have boosted his value to over £10m
-
wouldn't surprise me if this is true
-
i think we can safely write off most of next season for micky owen now. after going under the knife twice you're talking 7 months minimum. add the that the fact that he's a slow healer....
-
emre could possibly do that role, although it would leave us with probably the shortest front two in the league
-
my mate who's an esate agent reckons defoe is buying a house in jesmond. done deal tbh
-
i'd be happy with mido and defoe. chalk up a couple of spurs rejects
-
We wouldn't exactly have many, should we sell Faye and Butt. 156200 who's going to be stupid enough to take faye and butt of our hands?
-
When do people think we'll sign our first player.

two seconds, i'll go and get my crystal ball -
not a bad signing. he's the kind of of player we could have got on the cheap and one i thought we might have been in for...

edited. didn't read the whole thread

it's all about the espresso frappucino tbh

a one night stand is the cure

does getting cained count as a hobby?
-
me too. then at least if we do ok i'll be pleasantly surprised.

the teams around us are improving and as far as i'm aware we haven't got a pot to piss in - the players we have been linked with recently suggest that we won't be splashing out in the transfer market. unless roeder can conjure of some del-boy-esque wheeling and dealing, i can see it being a long season.
-
the core of the team could be the same for the next world cup, unless some quality new youngsters break through. assuming owen's knee injury deprives him of pace and mobility, maybe walcott can take his role alongside rooney - he's going to be learning from the likes henry and wenger at arsenal. the only problem position could be right back i can't see a 35 year old neville still being up for it and there aren't too many other quality english right backs around at the moment. something like this i reckon.... --------------------robinson ???--------terry-----------ferdinand------a cole lennon----hargreaves----gerrard---------j cole ----------rooney-----------walcott/???

he got so much stick because eriksson kept bringing him on for ten minuted here and there, playing him out of position and expecting him to turn a game. he isn't that sort of player. he's shown his true class given a run in his favoured position and should keep lampard out of the side on current form. he's one of the few good things to have come out of the eriksson era.
