we can blame the defensive mistakes that led to goals. Bruno’s in particular was a howler but Bournemouth had our number today. Their press was as good as I’ve seen from any opponent this season and we had no answers. They didn’t give our defence or midfield a second to play out and they boxed Tonali in at every opportunity, forcing mistakes when we tried to play out. I thought surely they can’t keep this up for 90 minutes but we were the side that looked ragged second half. I can’t remember the last time we were so beaten so emphatically

Bournemouth have bullied us all game. I thought they would tire second half with the intensity they’ve played at but the opposite has been true. We’ve been sloppy and so ragged.
