yes and i expect we will continue to line up with three CMs against the top sides but our achilles heel last season was unlocking low block defences. signing someone such as ekitike would have given us the option to flip to 4-2-3-1 as he can play number 10, as could Isak with Ekitike ahead of him. it seems smarter move both in terms of squad building and psr. if money was no object, i'd prefer ekitike to wissa, but wissa has done it in the premier league and is more likely to hit the ground running straight away.

wissa/trafford/scalvini combined could end up costing north of £100m if what the reporters are saying about price is true. if we got all three for the same price as ekitike it's a no brainer and very smart business
