I only watched the second half but it was one way traffic after Man City’s second. They couldn’t live with PSG’s press, which makes me feel optimistic about playing them because we can definitely get at them like that. I was also surprised by how aggressively PSG closed them down because I don’t remember them playing like that against us last season at all

This version of Man City look vulnerable and have probably left themselves too much to do this season, even if Liverpool stutter. I’m sure they’ll be back next session after they refresh their squad but after watching that game I think we can get something at their place if we have a go. They hated being pressed - PSG were so good at closing down passing lanes, they even made Ederson’s distribution look poor.
