  1. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-wire/alan-pardew-will-good-position-summer/ Pardew "We will be in a good position in the summer" Roll up roll up get those season tickets now folks, he's just so full of shit.
  2. Canny for Gatesheed & a kick in the balls for Ashley.
  3. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fabricio-coloccini-puts-hands-up-7026017 Coloccini "We've not been good enough" Is Pardew's press conference for the Arsenal game today ?
  4. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/shola-ameobi-accuses-magpies-chiefs-7023585 Ameobi "Pardew having to work with a substandard transfer kitty"
  5. We may finish this season 5 or 6 places higher than last season, yet it feels like we've taken a massive backward step.
  6. There's a discussion over on NO imagining if Dennis Wise hadn't been at the club allowing Keegan & Graham Carr to work together. You can just hear Carr now " there you go Kev there's Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Debuchy, & Remy " we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.
  7. It's to be expected, there's a list and a highlighter outside Pardews office. Players are asked to highlight their names as they leave so he knows who he's left with.
  8. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/shola-ameobi-set-new-contract-talks/ That's one new signing over the line then.
  9. Good article again HF the thing is will there ever be any meaningful backlash from the match goers. This season we've had a small protest march, one or two banners, a magical misery tour, and a bit of sporadic shouting in the ground. We are consistently getting hidings week in week out, the fun has to have gone out the match day now. The patience of the match goers has been tested to the limit the telling point for me was Saturday's match against Swansea. There was a quick shout when Shola scored then the crowd fell silent almost resigned for what was about to come. I remember going to the match the atmosphere used to be electric it's obviously a very different St James Park now were the atmosphere seem's like a public library.
  10. Hope one of the journalist's at the press conference for the Arsenal game ask's Pardew where Ben Arfa is. After his clear the air meeting with Pardew he suddenly had an injury with no return date according to physioroom.com. Then on Friday the same site had Ben Arfa down for a return date of 19/04/14 (matchday) with a late fitness test. Yet he was nowhere to be seen on Saturday now today physioroom.com have this. H. Ben Arfa hip/thigh injury no return date doubtful. So what is the truth Pardew ? shame none of our local journo's can't track Ben Arfa down for a comment.
  11. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-pardew-reveals-determination-stop-7015381 Determined to stop the rot, wonder if he sits in the stands against Cardiff so he can make a sharp exit.
  12. I know it's hypothetical but if Moyes came in I wonder how many of the wannabeaways would wannabeaway.
  13. There's rumblings of a walk out v Cardiff over on NO talking about singing for 5 or 10 minutes. Then around about the 60 minute mark walk out the ground. Not sure if it'll happen but it's a start I suppose. Apparently its getting shared around on twitter ( tweeted) .
  14. Just around half time the camera on the stream I was watching panned around there seemed like a lot of empty spaces. PL pointed out it was half time tbf.
  15. Pardew to do a streak up the full length of the pitch moon at the Newcastle fans say "that one's for Mike" then blame Ben Arfa .
  16. What time in the game was that mate because the crowd look pretty thin.
  17. Wondering if Pardews sat there with his fingers crossed hoping Moyes is finished at Man Utd. Hoping he'll get the golden ticket out of St James Park.
  18. Fellow team mates rubbing off on him ?
  19. The reason most of the 11 that turn out on a saturday is because that is all we have. The alternative is we throw the kids on because the squad is painfully thin. In fact Chelsea probably have more players out on loan than we have in our entire first team squad. A squad that I would imagine will get a whole lot thinner in the summer. We might be on a sound footing financially but we're in desperate measures on the pitch.
  20. Played a further 17 games (51points) and picked up 13 points we've now scored 3 goals at St James Park (same as Sunderland) in 2014. Any other manager at any other club would have been down the road long ago. That's not a run of back luck that's a damn disgrace 5 consecutive defeats you can post any amount of stats you want. But there's no getting away from the fact that Pardew should NOT be the manager of this club the buck stops with him. If he had an ounce of humility or dignity he should have handed his resignation in weeks ago.
  21. Stay in the premiership for little or no outlay free worldwide advertising for sports direct that's all that's required by Ashley. Thats why he's worth £5.5 billion now he was worth £1.8 billion when he bought NUFC. The club is just a platform for his sportswear business he's not arsed about the history, the legends, or the fans. As long as them big fuck off Sports Direct signs are viewed all over the world that's all he's interested in.
