Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
trooper replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
We now have about 15 premiership games before the window opens with a smaller squad that just escaped relegation. As Stevie says the "mickey mouse clubs" have spent money we borrowed a player ffs the sad reality is we are becoming one of those "mickey mouse clubs". Ashley gambled last year and just about got away with it by buying in January. He's trying it on again this season but at what cost ?.Slowly but surely Pardew is being sold down the river & when it all goes tits up will be first out the door. Don't expect Kinnear to replace Pardew he'll be long gone it wouldn't surprise me if Ashley appointed Beardsley as the next manager. It's going to be another rollercoaster season but sadly i think for all the wrong reasons.- 10610 replies

When the day comes for Ashley and his croanies fuck off and sell up what type of ownership would you prefer ? 1.) A rich oil sheik to throw money at the club. 2.) A local consortium to keep the club stabilised listen to the fans but not have the funds of an oil sheik. 3.) Something in between My choice would be 2 because this club needs to be run by people who understand what this club means to the fans and the region we dont have to be the richest club or have the biggest ground or to have the piss took out of us by someonewho doesnt give a flying fuck as long as your spending your money.I dont go to the ground anymore but watch the matches via the internet there's not many happy faces at the ground at the minute it's like the life is getting sucked out of the club. Some of you will be going for Steve Harper's testimonial game this week, his team are the legends they're what made this club great they didn't win any F.A cups or Premier League titles (not for the want of trying) but they put smiles on faces gave you something to talk about before and after the game and im pretty sure most of them would roll their sleeves up and help out if a local consortium bought the club it's time St James Park was a happy place again unfortunatley at the minute people are laughing at the club we all deserve a club run better than it is now.I'll probably get hammered for this but its how i feel at the minute.

Thanks for the info Tom cheers

Fairly decent first 11 yes but very very thin on back up players to cover any injuries
-
He can't even get the players names right i'll bet his negotiation skills are outstanding
-
It's all just smoke & mirrors from Ashley even down to the last day of the window the rumours circulating that we may get Ba back on loan a player we had sold 6 months ago. It was just a case of throwing some crumbs out to placate the fans but i dont believe there was any genuine intention.
-
How much would he sell the club for ?
-
"No comment" ... Mike Ashley "Trust me ... Alan Pardew "Who the fuck's this Cameroon" ... Joe Kinnear
-
Tbf yesterday played out pretty much as expected (i.e. Fuck all spent) the only real surprise for me was Cabaye remaining at the club
-
I dont think he enjoyed the bed sheet brigade, the last time they came out to play the stewards were given orders to confiscate the banners as they were seen by a worldwide audience i remember fans were warned that their ST would be revoked. This was because it didnt affect the players but i imagine it tarnished the worldwide brand of Newcastle United Football Club and as we now know Ashley has bought the club as a brand not as a football club with one intention making money. He doesnt give a toss about the fans who go and spend their hard earned money as long as they keep spending he'll carry on taking the money & the piss out of each and every supporter, the club, & the city of Newcastle i've said it before Keegan didn't leave for nothing he loved the club, the supporters, and the city,he quickly realised the club was rotten at the top he was being undermined just like Pardew but at least he had the self respect and respected the club, the supporters and the city of Newcastle by walking away and eventually exposing the way this regime now runs the club .
-
He's got the ST money he's got the shirt money thats ALL he's bothered about a half empty ground wouldn't bother him in the slightest.

Does anyone here have a soundbar for their telly was thinking of getting one with a wireless subwoofer are they any good ? any recomendations? Cheers
-
Tbh today's played out like we thought it would on the plus side it looks like Cabayes staying hopefully he'll get stuck in and get back to his old self.
-
Never mind there's always the January window
-
I think the writings on the wall that neither will be at the club much longer
-
You can't beat a nice bit of smoked haddock poached in milk with new potatoes and peas
-
I think Cabaye had a run out yesterday to show prospective buyers that he's fit and ready to play.
