    Fatigue

2 mornings in a row when he's slept til 7.45am from 8 pm the night before. Both days I've been awake wondering if he's still breathing You don't ever rest SLP. Be prepared!
  2. Bad craic that HMHM. I can relate to it massively - particularly the bit about the kids holding those candles. I've been apart from my ex for almost 5 years now, divorced for almost 2 and in a little over 2 weeks i'll finally stop living with my kids. Not looking forward to it at all. Chin up fella and concentrate on the good stuff. Make sure the time you have with the kids is rich with fun and enjoyment and they'll come round to the idea that it's all for the best. Hope you feel better about it soon. Cheers, mate. If it wasn't for the kids I could cope no bother. They constantly drop hints about mammy and daddy getting married again and stuff like that. I wish it could work just for their sakes but it can't and I feel really, really guilty for that Sorry to hear about that - it sounds absolutely shit, but you deserve to be happy and the bairns will be too in the long run. They will have 2 parents who adore them and that's more important for their well-being than anything - you don't have to live in the same house.
  3. Ah no, I've been to Down at the Farm. I was thinking of Herrington country park which is opposite PM.
  4. Whereabouts in Houghton? Is it the one opposite Penshaw monument?
  5. Tweddle farm in Blackhall. It's probably a bit of a trek from your neck of the woods but it's just a couple of junctions down the A19 from here. Will report back later!
  6. Knacked! Could do with a lie-in but we're taking the Fraggle to the farm this morning.
  7. I thought exactly the same thing. I wouldn't bungee jump but if my life depended on it I'd rather have a piece of elastic over water than a rope and some mud below me
  8. I'm not sure about non-clinical but I got additional holidays after 10 yrs service (been qualified 13 yrs now) and I know I got over 300hrs when I was full-time. And yes, that is inclusive of hours in lieu of bank holidays.
  9. Us NHS workers who do shifts on the shop floor get the bank holidays aswell because we have to work them.
  10. Harder said than done with this particular species though, they are notoriously unruly and picks up scent and trails... but yes i agree, should perhaps have trained it even better.... Ah well.. and cheers gemill Really sorry to hear it. Only ever lost pet in my adult life and it was awful. I'd agree with getting another one, and as soon as you can. I'm sure there's a puppy out there that needs someone to love it
  11. It would have been better without Gervais on it full stop, and that's coming from someone who is a fan. He just looks like a twat in this and the series doesn't need him in it. Scott - you need to watch whatever you didn't see of the last series because every one of them was brilliant.
  12. New series tonight at 9pm on Sky1. Can't wait
  13. I'll bet she was well impressed with your beetroot face

Watch out for the Shadow Man!* *Unless you watch Disney's Princess and the Frog twice a day you probably won't understand that, but it's set in New Orleans and it's very good...
  16. You get them out of the Sunday magazines, don't you? Limited edition Lord of the Rings titanium rings and William and Kate wedding plates etc. They cost about £99.99 which you can break down in manageable monthly payments... She says, looking up at her Royal Wedding teacups. Teacups? I was at the wedding, man. Sat just next to the Beckhams...
  17. Do you want a lend of the bairns potty for next to your bed?
  18. Brilliant news. Hope he gets what he deserves.
  19. I've tried contacts but my eyes are so sensitive that I can't wear them for as long as I need to and end up having to take them out halfway through a nightshift etc. I'd just love to be able to get up in the morning and be able to see properly without having to do anything.
  20. Bit of a thread bump but I'm seriously considering getting this done. It would just make life so much easier considering I'm scatty as fuck and keep forgetting to put my specs in my bag for work, then have to look at patients monitors all night.
  21. Fucking immense. Can't stop giggling at the one with the stubble and 'the forehead'
