We used to do that in the nurses home all the time because we'd automatically get 3 lots of firemen...

HeHe Just having a play with the colours! (The green looks quite good if you're using the dark skin)! Though I prefer this orange, as orange and Black are our race colours Orange is easier on the eyes on the white background, definitely..

Bev, you've gone all snot-coloured!

Maybe you should talk with HMHM. I think he's in a similar situation at the moment. You know that it's the right thing to do and that it should have actually happened a while ago. Things will feel better in time and it'll become normal for the bairns.

I was at work, you dipstick. 10 nights off now. Bring it on!

I'm just home from a busy nightshift. The 2 nurses on-call tonight were myself and my little brother. We do the same job, in the same hospital but I've done it for a lot longer than him. We went to McDonalds for breakfast on the way home. This cup of tea is bloody lovely.

I think that unless you've actually been diagnosed with an incurable disease that no-one knows what your inner voice would be saying, but fair point. His billion dollar bank balance is no good to him now.

"I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept: No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." Steve Jobs, 2005 - shortly after his diagnosis with pancreatic cancer. We could all learn something from his vision. RIP.

Sounds like a backhanded compliment if ever I heard one! Just to be clear, you in no way fall under the " Eights" category. No no no no noooooo… You'd be classed as a Glenn. Jeez, I'm not sure I dare ask. Go on....

There's a trampy bloke who comes and sits in A&E at work quite regularly. There's nothing medically wrong with him but he gets to save on his heating and they normally have Corrie on the telly in the waiting room.

Sorry I had to share it though. I can't fucking stand the bint to start with and this has just added to that somewhat and I don't really know why..

Not a fan of gory films at all like. Inadvertently 'watched' (it was on in the background of the coffee room) District 9 at work the other night and that was bad enough for me.
