    Drink driving

Personally I think that you should not be able to touch alcohol at all if you're going to drive. No ambuguity about "well I can have 2 pints and still be fine.." I've seen the after-effects too often to make any kind of case for a safe limit.
  3. So horribly ironic and shocking Very pedantic of me but she's not been assassinated - she's still alive and has undergone surgery apparently.
  4. Are you allowed to be drunk at work Snakey? I have escaped without there being any major incidents. Happy weekend!
  5. Night Shift. Been up all night, and will be up for another 2 hours or so... Let you off then. Et moi aussi. This nonsense has kept me busy all night. It's been dead here like. That's just tempted fate for the last hour - multi-vehicle pile up on the cards now..
  6. Earth, Wind and Fire Bon Jovi
  7. I forgot to mention Vanilla Ice and Chris Issac aswell. My early teens were cheese-tastic.

    New Year

Not that it's as important as christmas like but it's mint that people like you keep this country going, your family must be dead proud of you, hope you get treble time. Thank you Not even double time unfortunately (I think it's time + 2/3) I had all of Christmas off which is what I wanted so I could spend it with baba and the family, so I have to do NYE and NYD nightshifts instead. I don't really mind cos we wouldn't have been going out anyway but there's better places to be than in an operating theatre with someones insides all over the table We might get nothing, in which case we're all taking nice food in and we can celebrate a little bit. If I'm lucky we might get a new year caesarian - that's always quite special

    New Year

Spending it with the good folks of Gateshead who fancy having a bit of New Year surgery.
  15. Whoa there! I've not voted 'yes' It's up there with guyliner and Justin Bieber haircuts in the 'completely fucking unnecessary' category if you ask me. You want to put your stuff somewhere when you go to bed? That's what bedside tables are for.
  16. It is the truly creepy landlord who has been arrested.
  17. Just another afternoon in the Trent then.. did you see any mention of me badgering people into going for a curry? No you did not. Back in your Box, Tits McGhee! Whatever
  18. You can have mine. Make me an offer Can I throw my Simpsons hankies and cuff-links into the deal? You're really loved. I got day of the week socks when I was 15. FIFTEEN. Dear me I didn't get any shit presents this year. My mother-in-law made up for the fact that she got me a magnetic shopping list pad for the fridge last year...
  19. Old enough to leave with someone?! You've been gone that long he's doing his GCSE's in the summer!
