We've been to see that, as well as Room on the Broom - All brilliantly done and the bairn loved it. Children should go to the theatre more often. As should grown-ups come to think of it.

Very random but I woke up at 6.15 this morning and it was getting light. Roll on Spring - I'm sure winter leaves me with a bit of SAD.

Moved to Manchester for Uni aged 19. Lived in the nurses home for 3 years then rented a house with my then boyfriend after I qualified. We bought a house 6 months before we got married which he subsequently bought me out of when we split up 5 years later, although it took him about 2 yrs to get round to sorting the finances out. As much as I love my parents, I've managed to avoid moving back in with them at any point despite having to move out of 2 houses/relationships with next to nothing.

There appears to be some kind of haunted-ghost-tour-of-Edinburgh-after-dark going on in the street below my open hotel window. If they don't shut the fuck up then they'll be getting an unexpected ghostly black boot landing on them from a great height.

The sun is shining, heading up to Edinburgh for a couple of days with my own little Harry Potter and we've got a picnic packed for the train (mainly crisps) Gotta love half term
