I had 2 glasses of red wine on Christmas Eve, a G&T, a white wine and a glass of champagne of Christmas day and that's all I've had. Working all new year so won't be having anything then. Must be getting old.

Not having such a good day now Ken?

Is that their entire stock or have you bought 6 just to be on the safe side?
-
Will it all end in tears? Already fragile after a sobbing phonecall from the bairn earlier (now at his dads) to say he missed me
-
Love Actually just starting. Worth a watch?
-
Brilliant Here's what happened this morning..
-
Hope you've all had a gorgeous day. For some reason the bairn was utterly convinced that Santa was leaving the presents under the tree (he didn't tell me this!!) so as he came downstairs and saw the tree only had a few family presents under there he absolutely believed Santa hadn't been. He got down on his hands and knees under the tree and said "So what happens now? " He didn't even look at the settee right beside him. I've got the whole thing on video and I could have cried

Happy Christmas How long am I supposed to leave this child snoring next to me before I wake him up?!
-
Thank you love. And to you and yours (PS, Hope they're not up at 6am or before )
-
Happy Christmas you filthy lot x
-
It's nee Chase. like.

I've just read that to the bairn. It's the first year where it's just me and him and he's snoring away merrily already. He told me earlier that Santa says that "You shouldn't get up too early - only once it's light outside" I swear this child was sent by angels
-
Shut it! I used to cry, refuse to put on my Christmas Eve jarmas and ask my mam to ring Santa and ask him to leave my presents at Grandma's cos I was terrified that he'd look through my window to check if I was asleep
-
Parents send the money, the bairn leaves the Christmas list with the mince pie and milk/brandy/whatever-your-tipple-of-choice-is and Santa leaves the presents. This is the first year that my son really 'gets it' and I have had to find the balance between making him excited and not freaking him out cos I HATED the fact a man let himself into my house when I was a kid. It terrified me.

God bless Christmas dinner at the parents house. It means I don't have to go near a supermarket til after Christmas now. Fucking mentalists with 2 trollies piled high with absolute greed. Half of which will then get thrown away - can't stand it.
-
I really need to start watching more films..
-
I haven't seen a single episode of that and really don't feel like I'm missing out.
-
You're welcome. If anything changes on the babysitting front tomorrow I'll text one of you.
-
Oh now come on!!
-
It really does PS Tooj - got a text from Alex earlier. Have fun tomorrow

Still not delighted that my name is being used in place of that word!! Better than the alternative though I suppose.

Yeeeah, maybe just a little bit...
