  1. Of course, we should all be listening to what people on the other side of the world have to say on the subject of a boycott....
  2. Now that we know that Ashley is in charge of the club for at least one more season, are you going to cave in and buy a ticket (of any kind, ST or on the day), or indeed were you going to anyway? Or are you going to do the only thing that makes any sense and not give Ashley a penny (or continue not to), on account of the fact his promises are worthless and his appointments are incompetent?
  3. Oh look, it's Alex telling another lie. That's....unusual.
  4. Predicated a point, maximum. Clearly knows nowt, the pessimistic fuck.
  5. Well done Sissoko and Jonas, two players unlikely to be here next season, but still put a performance in for us, for very different reasons I'm guessing. They've done a magnificent job covering up the flaws and failures of classic Ashley era players like Riviere and Anita, and of course getting the best coach of the league well and truly off the hook. And now next season we'll have to suffer it all over again.
  6. Allardyce just put on Rob Lee's son. What a cunt. Allardyce that is.
  7. 20 minutes to save our club. Come on West Ham & Hull, show us that you care.
  8. Shows how far Mike has ruined NUFC. We should always be above them, even when relegated. It is the natural order of football.
  9. It's remarkably distracting seeing our players' shirts effectively change colour each time they change direction. Takes your mind off their shit play though, so every cloud and all that....
  10. Bollocks. Sissoko reminds Arsenal he's actually a decent footballer, while at the same time condemning us to another PL season under Ashley.
  11. Jonas is putting a shift in because he's just about the last member of this squad who was bought to play for us, rather than to simply be put in the shop window. An unkind person would say he's only trying as he knows he's not likely to get a better club, but I rather think his effort is totally genuine.
  12. As if the fans can turn around footballing ineptitude of this standard. This is already turning out like one of those classic games you see when teams need a result but lack the organisation/talent to achieve it. West Ham look more like winning than us, and that's unsurprisingly not contrary to all the pundits/commentators predictions beforehand. Still, what to they know eh Strawb?
  13. Hey, when you've been told by the boss not to watch TV or log on to Toontastic all week, then what else is there to do after training?
  14. Riviere halting a forward run to pass it back to Williamson in the apparent hope he would continue the move. Which he obviously didn't, as he couldn't spot the appropriate long ball in time due to pressure, and instead pinged it back to Riviere at light speed, meaning obviously that he lost the ball. All performed to predictable groans from all the stupid fuckwits who turned up today to cheer the team on, apparently expecting something better. We do not deserve to stay up. Period. Everything about this club is rotten.
  15. "most Geordie fans will be buoyed by that interview" - today's match commentator Cut to Fat Mike in the stands: "My work here is done. Oddjob, fire up the chopper!"
  16. I've recorded it. Do you want me to transcribe, or is the summary below sufficient? 1. he took full responsibility for the shocking situation we're in 2. he will continue the policy of "investing in the club" 3. he cannot guarantee results, only investment 4. more financial stability crap (we can now "punch above our weight") 5. being financially sound isn't good enough (we're going to "bolt the horse onto the cart") 6. the ambitions is now to win something, or get top 4 7. he's not selling until that happens 8. it's not for sale at "any price" 9. from this day forward, NUFC will be "making its own luck" 10. he's not responsible for picking managers 11. his job is maximising the financial resources available 12. Gemmill is his lovechild, he's hurt and upset that he won't return his calls
  17. They generally are when it comes to issues like this. It's pretty much their job.....
  18. Even better, we could take over an established but poorly supported League club and relocate them. Wait, no, didn't someone do that already? Let me just go check.....
  19. He clearly doesn't post much because he knows fuck all. Good luck finding a single pundit/commentator who has not blamed Burnley's relegation primarily on their misfiring strikeforce. Their general team play was very well received, hence all the plaudits for their manager.
  20. He doesn't mean any of it, even this trophy/top 4 shite. It's clearly only aimed at all the gullible fucks who might have been sitting on the fence regarding supporting a proper boycott next season (i.e. not buying another ticket until he's gone). Unless you're mentally retarded, it should be obvious by now Ashley will only sell under two conditions: 1. the club is heamoraging money in the lower leagues and is no longer worth bothering with 2. once he's extracted every last penny of profit from the PL TV contract, and finally got bored
