Absolutely correct but loaning the lad out to a Leeds or Hibs doesn’t help our squad, we need strength in depth and he needs to gain more pitch time with us. A world class striker and a young apprentice is not the answer. We need to add to the squad in that department and have needed to for some time

He needs to stay here and continue to benefit from our training regime. Not bloody Leeds or Burnley’s. Just needs more game time, rather than a worn out Wilson. Since when recently have we loaned a player out that has come back successfully for us? Matty Longstaff? Garang Kuol? Minteh? Anderson? Murphy perhaps, but surely the lad just needs some confidence building trust from the management.
