Seeing Ghodoussi and Ashworth pictured with new players is, unsurprisingly, a lot more reassuring and professional looking than having Penfold and the Hamburgler McBacontits hanging off them.

I'd imagine one of the big problems with buying young up and coming players from abroad, is that there's most likely quite little reliable info on their temperaments. Someone like Ashworth would have the inside track on most English players of all ages, but unless you have a foreign scout who's deeply imbedded in the country you're buying from it's probably tough.

But, but he's Brazilian ๐ He is a good player on his day, but whether it was mostly just Everton being shit, or his own bad attitude, his day doesn't come about that often. Perhaps playing for a more successful team who compete in the Champions League will inspire him to up his game and make full use of his talents.

https://www.geordiebootboys.com/transfers/newcastle-transfer-news-bayer-leverkusen-simon-rolfes-on-moussa-diaby/ Decent news on Diaby. The Leverkusen director of football has gone from he's definitely not going, to we may need to sell if a big enough offer comes in. Whether we'll be able to meet their demands, beat off competition, is another matter of course.

It would have been a lot more exciting if we could have signed our attacking reinforcements first before improving the backline, but unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Obviously effective attack minded players generally move later in the window given they aren't in plentiful supply, and clubs are unwilling to sell their attackers until they have a replacement in place. That is unless you are Liverpool and Man City and can bring in two of the best forwards in the world early doors.

I suppose it's entirely possible that Ekitike and his agent have come crawling back. On the other hand Graves could just be making an educated guess that we all made at the time the deal broke down, and it seemed apparent that PSG and Madrid weren't actually interested.

French media claim Newcastle are now in for 19-year-old winger available for โโฌ7-10millionโ | NUFC blog โ Newcastle United blog โ NUFC Fixtures, News and Forum.

Not necessarily with regard to his wages. There'll be a wage structure at the club, and presumably if you offer Eriksen for example 150,000k a week, other players will be looking for parity, and may even have a clause in their contact that states that they always have parity with the highest earner at the club.

Is Newcastleworld and this Cronin guy clickbait nonsense; or have they ever got anything right?

According to Romano West Ham are looking the more likely. That is unless we steal in at the last minute, which would be amusing.

Why is he a piece of shit? I seem to recall him being a bit of a diver last season. Mind you even going to the effort of diving was more than most of his teammates could manage.

Arnaut Danjuma Could Join Premier League Club Within Hours, Newcastle Or West Ham Likeliest (insidefutbol.com) ? Or were you just joking and predicting that Everton will get relegated?

Casey claims Newcastle will pay anything to sign 23 y/o | thisisfutbol.com ๐ Casey giving himself plausible deniability on Scamacca. He's the equivalent of a crank spirit medium cold reading pensioners in order to steal money off them.

Tottenham, Leeds & Newcastle among Premier League clubs monitoring Noni Madueke (90min.com) I know Bailey isn't well thought of on here, but if memory serves he was one of the first people to break Ekitike interest in January. Madueke seems like a cheaper alternative to Diaby, and having never really seen either play I'm going to say that Madueke is clearly a better option than Thorgan Hazard ๐ In all seriousness though Hazard is pushing 30 and this guy is 21, so the difference in potential is obvious.

Been said before I'm sure, but when you consider the contacts that Ashworth has from the all the England national team age groups from his time in charge of development, it's incredibly exciting to think of the youth set up he's going to create.

Newcastle United tracking explosive Southampton forward Tyler Dibling | Shields Gazette The Gazette have picked the story up, but perhaps there are just going by what Football Insider has reported from that youth football expert.
-
Yep, the video of his hattrick is in the link. Of course it could just be people adding two and two and getting five given he's Southampton's hottest prospect, and we're supposedly offering 6500 grand a week to a someone who's only 16. And that's assuming that the story about us being after a Southampton youth player is even true.

The Magic Roundabout and Top Cat references ๐ How old is everyone on here. That being said I got both references straight away and I'm about a year off forty.

Newcastle set to sign Southampton talent โin the coming daysโ - Report | NUFC blog โ Newcastle United blog โ NUFC Fixtures, News and Forum. We're apparently going to sign a 16 year old Southampton youth player and put him on 6500 grand a week, so he's obviously a rising star for them. The speculation is that it's a kid called Tyler Dibling who's an attacking mid who can also play down either flank. Could be bollocks, but who knows. I'd be more liable to believe in youth team news than senior squad rumours, given there's less money in the clicks for made up nonsense.

It originally comes from a Belgian publication seeing as he was on loan to Anderlecht last season, but yeah who knows. He looks like the profile we're going for, so it's a decent guess if nothing else. He had 18 goals and 13 assists last season, so impressive but the question always is if a player can replicate those numbers they managed in a weaker league like the Belgian one in the PL. His loan from Bayern to Anderlecht finishes tomorrow, so we might see some movement then if there's anything in this.

PSG agree personal terms in principle with Milan ล kriniar, Gianluca Scamacca and Renato Sanches โ Get French Football News (getfootballnewsfrance.com) PSG have supposedly agreed personal terms with Scamacca, so that could be one off the list of back ups to Ekitike, at least potentially.
