  1. right then, a contentious thought to throw in to the equation just before retiring for the night in a bit of a stropp, but..... we've got a horrendous injury list and we've played 5 more games than last season, however our home form other than liverpool has remained fucking impressive despite this. I thought other than a few renditions of sad mackem bastard to pickford our support tonight was really quiet and not for the first time. has the way the club's fucked about with ticketing for away games impacted on the backing the players are getting and consequently their form? did the larger allocation at man utd allow more of the regular away travellers to get in again and lift the players there? the squad was equally as decimated for that game too but we were superb nonetheless. clutching at straws I know, but still, the noise from the away stand has been a shadow of that from last year I reckon.
  2. aye, it's been emotional. first loss on me 11th match thread, I should be able hold me head high, but no, losing it against these cunts is fucking shameful. I can only apologise lads.
  3. nah, he's a cunt. he was a cunt back in the early '00s when working for the journal and a massive apologist of the waster that was dyer. he's a cunt now for all the reasons alex lists above. and he'll still be a cunt on the day he departs this mortal coil. simple as that really.
  4. for fucks sake man. we've got a couple of tricky league games coming up to keep us in the chasing pack and then a match with the potential to see us in to the knock out stages of the champions league. my main interest in the fa cup is the odd visit to rtg to laugh at the absolute mayhem, carnage and the further descent in to insanity sunday's draw has wreaked on them.
  5. I wouldn't worry too much mate, gemmill's behaviour is bound to become irrational as his biggest game of the season approaches.
  6. any truth in this? don't bump in to that many mackems down here, worked with one once but not seen him for a few years now. anyway, it's not what I'd be saying....
  7. and the lying scouse cunts claim to have lost more money over covid than sunak spent on the fucking furlough system. fuck 'em.
  8. boy oh boy is the feeling mutual. any empathy I had with scousers during the thatcher years has long since disappeared. fuck everton fc, fuck liverpool fc and fuck the entire city of hand wringing, self pity.
  9. £47 for a forest ticket. no way would this game be in the same banding as liverpool and man utd. somebody dropped a bollock with the pricing of the arsenal game at £41, the club announced they'd honour that price, but no, they're gonna make sure the cash cow they view the membership as pays for their fuck up.
  10. fucking hell, i thought you were taking the piss!
  11. getting challenging already as a lowly member mate. £62 for a chelsea ticket in the east stand, although in fairness it was right on the half way line half way up the upper tier, so a canny albeit expensive seat. ended up forking out the same in desperation for saturday's match, this time in the very corner of the milburn, 3 rows from the front. shite view. I got a ticket in me resale basket just prior to this in the milburn too, £77. I chucked the fucker out again, not paying that even if it was sat on staveley's knee.
  12. right then, it's time to take out another 30 day free trial of amazon prime, just don't forget to cancel it. and that's because we're playing a game of football at 19.30 in the north(ish) west of england in the lawless, feral town of liverpool, although it's actually everton we play. hate these blue dipping cunts, desperate to see them flush. I'd like to think we'll be helping them on their way down, so... 0-3, chook hat trick.
  13. i'd imagine it's one of the ditty's being performed by the caedmon choir at sunderland minster on the 10th.
  14. spot on mate. i mean it's probably not the thread for it but it all self perpetuates too. spaniel lugs gets voted on to the board of n.u.s.t. by virtue of her social media profile, i'm sure should he wish to do so pearson would too. the reality is i've heard infinitely more sense talked by newcastle supporters ten pints in out the back of the percy than these useless twats.
  15. aye. it's odd isn't it? sometimes i'm inclined to doubt the sincerity of rtg's champions of decency.
  16. gonna be a quiet day on rtg this coming sunday, they'll all be off to the minster being inherently decent....
