  1. fucking love the stuff I do. lived in st loiuis in france for a couple of years and found the easiest way to wind me frenchie mates up was to tell them that their language wasn't very important and their cheese was shite. in fairness the latter's probably not strictly true after being advised that only a heathen refrigerates camembert and the secret is to stick it in a dark cupboard till it shrinks to 1/4 its original size, turns a yellowy brown and can be smelt from 500 yards..... delicious! on the above basis I would put camerbert on a par with a really good vintage farmhouse cheddar. blue cheese is where its at for me though and I've always considered gorgonzola to be the king of cheese, until I discovered cabrales from northern spain. fucking hard to get a hold of mind, even from speciality cheese shops but I urge you even if it means heading off to the picos de europe to find some, do so. fucking magnificent!
  2. on the downside nketiah doesn't score many goals. even in the 2nd tier 3 in 17 for leeds isn't particularly prolific. think we're still taking a huge gamble with the strikers already on our books getting enough goals and this kids record doesn't look like it'll improve things that much. I'm aware I'm leaving meself wide open to rebuke here from the statisticians who'll be able to narrow down the 3 in 17 to actual seconds on the pitch mind, but there's also the small matter of me actually hoping for haaland..... now!
  3. will go straight to the top of my hit parade that will.
  4. ashley young he is an arsehole ashley young he is a twat ashley young he is an old man da do, da do, da do, da do do do do da da.
  5. I feel your pain. I've got an appointment at the trauma clinic at hospital tomorrow for me knackered collar bone, I'm inclined to see if they can also help with the psychological damage of our on/off transfer dealings.
  6. I'm not sure whether or not it's appropriate to respond to your post with a laughy face ? ah, fuck it....
  7. thought both casey and marko were acted superbly too. the latter in particular, had a scally off to perfection. some glorious, darkly comic moments.
  8. binge watched over the last couple of nights the responder. dark, depressing at times, but with some quite moving black comedy too. martin freeman is superb playing the part of a troubled copper and for me was head and shoulders above any of the usual shite police dramas. give it a go.
  9. dan burn sounds to me like he should be the baccy baron on c wing.
  10. bearing in mind that man utd weren't one of the two rumoured to be most vocal in their opposition to our takeover, the mind can only boggle as to what liverpool or tottenham would demand if we tried to loan one of their players.
  11. got a picture for what it'll look like if we bring no fucker in and get beat off everton?
  12. in fairness to yousef hatem, it's not a bad article. he trys to keep it balanced and pretty much summarises as you have. although I think reading between the lines he would plump to bring back benitez. think that ship's sailed now, I'd rather have new defenders with the current manager than benitez working with lascelles and clarke again. here's hoping for a productive next few days.

    Apologies

my mrs has been trying her best to do that for 32 years, poor cow! oh and id be happy to chip in with a subscription if that's the way forward.
  14. bloke on truefaith going a step further and more or less saying we should consider sacking howe and bringing back benitez as manager.... https://true-faith.co.uk/rafa-benitez-eddie-howe-and-newcastle-united-part-one/
  15. I'd probably take a punt on having joe kinnear back as long as we tried a slightly different approach to offering £35/40m for every player in the world without them signing.

    Apologies

I wondered what had happened last few days, just assumed there'd been some kind of glitch since the forum update a week or so ago. anyway, quite new here and haven't really took too much notice of the ownership/hierarchy of the place, I do know though that I've enjoyed being here the last couple of years and felt quite sad at its loss. take care ant, pleased here's back and you find a happy place.
  17. I mean I've never seen it like, but I'm guessing they're probably right about geordie shore.
  18. went to the royal grammar school. studied latin at university. I mean, what more evidence would a jury need?
  19. pretty sure he's from blyth. tory stronghold.
