why? resultt aside marseille was probably one of my favourite away trips. absolutely stunning drive down the coast in a hire car from nice airport. loved the city on the day time before the match. atmosphere in the velodrome was up there with the best I've ever experienced and that was when it was still a completely open bowl. their supporters gave ours a flare lit avenue to walk tbrough away from the stadium afterwards without a hint of any bother, likewise in the bars afterwards. very easy I suppose to be magnanimous in victory bit still, cracking city I thought.

couldn't even bring meself to comment on last night's horror show at leeds. sulked for a while and then set out choosing a movie to watch to take me mind off it. really, really good father/daughter road trip, dark and brooding and fantastic performances by the 2 leads. keep a listen out in about the middle for a superb track by underworld called 'denver luna' too, saving you the hassle of finding out what it was for yourself. anyway....

and I think you're probably right. for all the positives we've seen over the last few years, the one standout negative in my opinion is we do seem to lack the will for a fight. in fairness the owners were resolute in actually buying the club in the first place, but since we've been quite compliant. anyway, at some point we've got to say no and mean it. I actually doff my hat to the fat lad who owns forest and refused to accept gibbs white fucking off. let's assume lewis Hall has a stand out season and the dippers fancy a new left back next summer, there's absolutely fuck all to stop them thinking they can apply the same tactic again.
