Thought the same like even just watching on tv. Think it was the club doctor with the defibrillator, stood on the sidelines looking about himself waiting for instructions or permission to cross the pitch. The only real urgency seemed to come from the players and fair fucking play to them. Can't help but wonder if that defibrillator would've made it across the stadium had they not all downed tools and let everyone know there was an emergency in the stands.

Aye, definitely better than being sat on your own like but being lost in a sea of 50,000 folk it could easily have went the other way. If it was a cardiac arrest, that defibrillator might not have made it over in time had the players not stopped play and it would've been way more chaotic to try to administer chest compressions.

Glad to hear this like. Huge fucking credit to the players (both sides) for noticing there was an issue, quite possible the outcome wouldn't have been so positive otherwise. Ginola openly chatting about his own experience during the break really fucking hit me like a ton of bricks. Anyone who has ever lost someone to a cardiac arrest has surely wondered if a faster and more educated response might have saved them.

No kneejerk decisions and an unexpectedly standoff attitude actually makes a lot of sense from the new owners. Honestly get the feeling they might just be keeping Bruce around just long enough to be sure exactly who else from heirarchy needs to go with him. Football aside, one thing I've learned about shit managers: the ones that somehow stay in jobs against all odds are usually held up by a string of allies on either side of the chain. Even if he's the source, Bruce could well have other allies still at the club who could continue the rot if they're not also removed.

Surely that press conference must have his new bosses thinking "give this cunt another week and we can sack him for misconduct and save ourselves 8 million". If they weren't already thinking that, of course.

Sadly my guy has packed it in and shut his shop so I'm no longer getting them for 80p a pop. Get the feeling I was his only customer tbh. Good news is he put me in contact with his supplier so I'm now getting them even cheaper, just having to buy in bulk direct from Russia.

Again, for anyone still looking at the betting for next manager and having a shitfit: the book counts to 200% and even disregarding the two current "favourites" it's still over 150%. You can safely completely disregard the betting markets on this. A fucking roulette table is only 107%.

Fuck, I got a weird reuqest to build an MXR dookie not so long ago and after a bit of research had to turn it down. Frighteningly over-engineered for what it is (technically) but seriously hits the nail on the head phonically. Still weirdly intruiged by this pedal and you've just reminded me to dig into a bit more.

I've got no fucking clue who Mason is but if he's upset about the Nux pedal I'm gonnae go out on a limb and guess he's taken swapped the "voice" control on the Zen Drive, swapped it for a fixed value and claimed it as an original idea. Seems to be how the whole "boutique" pedal scene goes. Glad to hear the Zen Drive is still holding up though @Gemmill. On the off-chance of any issues down the line just give me a shout for a repair or a replacement.

Don't know much about it tbh bar it being a Dumble style overdrive. Big fan of the Zen Drive though which falls in similar territory, and there's fuck all to that (like most analog pedals) and really no reason why a mass produced version at £40 quid would be any worse than a £200 "boutique" effort some cunt like me has thrown together in his shed, bar the "buying local and supporting small businesses" rhetoric.

As much stick as Rafa gets about his weight he's still surely an outsider in the PL manager death-pool. The odds on Bruce likely halved today when he wasn't given his books. Edit: Just to clarify I was meaning due to poor health rather than an invite to an RSA embassy, but looking at Bruce I wouldn't be surprised if a cough that sounded a bit like "Khashoggi" might be too much for him.

Funnily enough I think I actually got in by using the disabled registration form. Must be some kinda tag on all my posts like. No other explanation on why I wasn't hounded out or ritually abused even after confessing I follow a team that wear red and white and go by the SAFC acronym.
