My understanding was (and I could be wrong) they build 3/4 or so of new stadium we then move in and start playing, then they demolish Leazes end and build the last end on new stadium then complete the demolition of St James’s

The arena would be a terrible site my own opinion is upgrade St James’s to 60K plus East stand if demolished and rebuilt with glass roof / frontage etc could be increased a bit without upsetting the heritage brigade But the cost of that plus a fucking expensive Gallowgate rebuild may well mean a move into the park If you asked everyone to vote I think it’s a close call and I’m not convinced the club is fully decided yet, what hasn’t helped was the total lack of investment / maintenance from the fat cockney twat during his ownership
