  1. What would be nonsense, would be to use either of those offences as a reference tool to gauge the correctness of the other one as you have done there. PS someone do a 'nonce sense' joke for good measure.
  2. Howay man, I never said Alex was bothered!
  3. Balls. I'm not playing the PC card, couldnt give a monkeys toss about that, all's I'm saying is I think that sort of comment absolutely reeks of shallowness. Obviously I think my missus is attractive, but it wouldn't occur to me for one second to start rating her against other peoples girlfriends like a game of Top Trumps.
  4. How is it in keeping with the rest of the thread exactly? Not sure exactly what you're implying with the Fish reference either tbh. It just seemed like a really shallow thing to say mate-sorta thing you might say about a car or the like if you know what I mean.
  5. That is possibly the most shallow thing I have ever heard on this board. Fuck me gently!
  6. [/Father Ted] "I hate the Greeks. They invented gayness!" [/Father Ted]
  7. Lawrence Durrell eat your heart out. Gerald Durrell n'est-ce pas? That's his brother. Ah yeah. Gerald wrote the book then didnt he? Who was Brian Blessed again? Gerald wrote 'My Family and Other Animals' set in Corfu. Lawrence was, amongst other things, a travel writer, who also wrote a book about Corfu - 'Prospero's Cell'. Was The Tempest set on Corfu then? I didnt know that. Is it called Corfu in the play? The title comes from his assumption that it was set on Corfu. Shakespeare doesn't name the island iirc. Or if he does, he certainly gives it a false name. Ah right fair enough. Hadn't heard the Corfu theory before. Almost certain it isn't named in the play.
  8. Fuckin hell those are some rough times tho but! Have a good 'un once you've caught up on your arrears of sleep marra!

  11. What next? An automatic spot for Oceania?

  13. If Kuffour signs for the Mackems he should get a huge standing ovation when he plays at SJP. Ironically this is a massive insult in Ghana and parts of neighbouring Cambodia.
  14. Can we assume that Gemmill didnt take part in the survey......?

    Happiness.

Wor lass bawled her eyes out all the way through that film. ...you know that life sapping feeling you get when you absolutely know you're not going to get your oats at the end of the night because all they're going to want to do is cuddle.... I think you're thinking of different films. Happiness is a film called Happiness. Happyness is a film that makes women want to cuddle. You plagiarising from Empire again? A marked improvement on your usual synopses anyway

Yeah I meant that one tbh. Will Smith got on my tits way before that film, but for him to interfere in the bedroom was just unpardonable.
  17. Jesus wept and good riddance tbh. What a complete Hiroshima* of a signing. Sadly one of a long list. * © Sima

  19. Took me four readings to even understand that codswallop!
  20. Dave, man...are you having a fucking laugh? When have you ever buttoned it for more than five seconds?
  21. 'The Bull' can't be too happy with his 'matador' in that picture. Button mushroom tastic tbh.
