  1. Has he been sick in his turn-ups again recently?
  2. It's not Wacky, it can't be Wacky was on line when "heatonlass95" was last night. Like I say the only way that would convince me that it's a real person is if they rang up the nightowls, with a designated password we give them, during the conversation with Alan. Reckon it's DEADMAN's twin sister. Siamese probably, joined at the brain stem.
  3. That's what I thought, but I could see how it could be an advantage to the batting side (only two men on the boundary encourages fours & sixes) but I wasn't sure how the same rule could prove advantageous to the bowling side.
  4. I'd stuck with firefox until recently, I'm flicking between that and Chrome now. FF has become really unstable for me and won't show some images. Chrome is alright, quick, but not as 'customisable'. Maybe customising FF made it slow & crashy?? Have to have a look at 4.0
  5. Just blather to keep peoples minds off Bahrain being cancelled.
  6. Google Newcastle 5 Leicester 4 and stick it in youtube. Listen to the roar when McGhee makes it 5-4. Thing of the past that noo, only 21,000 or so there too. Best noise I can remember was first home game of the season against Spurs who Gazza had just joined, we'd lost 4-0 at the blue dippers the week before, and were supposed to get stuffed off Spurs too, but we were winning 2-0 after 4 minutes, both goals at a dangerously full Gallowgate End. There was 45,000 in that day imo. Given as about 35,000. The Leicester 5-4 is still one of my favourite games of all time like. Fucking mental considering we looked completely fucked at 4-2 down with just over 10 mins to go. Gallacher scored IIRC and the place erupted. The players responded believing they could do it and never gave up. We got everything we deserved that day. Aitken's debut as well wasn't it? 14 years at Celtic and then he came down to us with a game like that. Pretty certain he said something like the atmosphere suppassed any Old Firm game he'd ever been involved in. Yeah it was. After he'd been brought in to stiffen the midfield and make us harder to break down
  7. I know in the batting powerplay only two fielders are allowed outside the circle. What happens in a bowling powerplay?
  8. Some scouse journalist on talksport yesterday dinnertime saying he was going to be better than Shearer
  9. I've come over all bashful. The other six dwarfs won't like that.
  10. What's The Vaccine's album like? I like most of what I've heard from them, with the notable exception of 'Post Break-Up Sex'.
  11. Ironically Japan is the world leader in hydrogen fuel cells and magnetic drive for cars. I see the Nissan Leaf went on sale here today. 10 hours charging for 100 miles driving, the range goes down by 10% if its cold, 25% if you put the heater on and 45% if you put the A/C on. Would take over a week to get from London to Edinburgh. Marvellous. And they were calling it 'zero emissions' on the news. What? If you plug it into a socket fed by a fossil-fuel power station it actually produces more co2 per mile than a 1.6 diesel. Early days and all that. The electric car is an absolute dead duck imo. They should concentrate on small capacity turbocharged combustion engines until the infrastructure is there for hydrogen.

  13. That assertion was discussed and dismissed. You can't be that special to build a website, and go for interviews via the dole. Last time I say it some people are just wronguns no other explanation is required. I will say I don't think that's close to what the medical community would say. I take pills to stay on the straight and narrow, and know people who do the same to prevent going into full jesus mode. Many of them high functioning and successful. I don't think Paul's going to be up for any business accolades, but the same kind of rules apply. as I said though, not one to judge, but if I was in a spot where I genuinely felt the lad was a danger I would discuss it privately, have words with the proper people and leave him be. Where's the fun in that though?
  14. Until cold fusion and hydrogen fuel cells come along, this will have to do.
  15. You had to think on the spot, and all you could come up with was "I was lying"? No, really, well done.
  16. Yes, Mclaren will certainly have a massive advantage with the inside info on the tyres.
  17. Ilmor design/make the Mercedes F1 racing engines.
  18. So are Dennis Wise's eyes, another wrongun. Look what he did to that taxi driver. The eye distance test has never let me down. Or the thin elongated head (John Terry). What has Nicholas Lyndhurst ever done to you?
  19. Nah, I'm not buying that. No way would they go through all of testing running a decoy. They can't possibly have that much faith in their simulator can they?? I agree that the first race looks like Red Bull's to lose, but Ferrari have been working very hard on their reliability so I expect them to be there to pick up the pieces.
  20. Ahhh but Barnard didn't design forward facing exhausts. The problem with the F92 I seem to remember was pitch sensitivity. Wasn't this the car that Alesi had to literally drag round behind him? It still doesn't work in practice: A whole pre-season testing schedule wasted, and now a compromised car for the rest of the year. This is going to take some pulling back.
  21. You know what bit of self awareness here, I can give it in spade loads but when someone takes the piss out of me I'm setting new world records for dummy spitting. Anyway CT please put a chart up or something to deflect this Jeff Winter crack from peoples memories. I reckon you knew you'd get a bit of grief off here, posting that pic. You can use the abuse as a motivational tool to push you towards your goal. So I'm being cruel to be kind comparing you to Jeff. I've seen pics of you before and you're a decent looking lad, its just that particular pic does you no favours. If its any consolation I look like Dietmar Hamann
