well surely with 2 innings needed in little over day it would take a miracle to be anything other than a draw now wouldn't it? Or am i missing somehting? 31460[/snapback] Well, there is still two thirds of today to play. The Aussies will be trying to score quickly in this session to build up a lead. Then they will hope Warne and McGrath can destroy us on a pitch which is becoming more favourable to the bowlers. If we make a poor second innings score, coupled to their first innings lead they could end up with a tiny total to aim at in their final innings.

So full backs are wingers and wingers are working wide men? No wonder the players look like they don't know what they're doing.
-
I'm feeling more positive about this. They're still 20-odd behind at lunch on day 4. That leaves a maximum of five sessions to play. If the rain or light interferes anymore I can't see this being anything but a draw.

Why does Boumsong spend so much time on his arse? Evertime the ball comes into the danger zone he's sprawling around on the floor. He needs to change his boots for a start. -

Thats the horrible thought that crossed my mind too. -
That's how I read it too, it is ambiguous though. Double negative = poor use of English language.

The New Orleans Saints are basing themselves in California for the time being, There are two or three suitable stadiums in the L.A area and they haven't got an NFL team at the moment. The Astrodome hasn't been used for American Football for a few years. It was the first domed stadium and quite old-fasioned (by american standards). The Houston Texans have their own shiny new stadium.

My second favourite sport is back tonight: American Football. If I remember rightly myself and Zico Martin are the only ones here who like this game. I think its great and combined with the Ashes series, the climax of the F1 season and the brave new world of NUFC I'm in my sporting element.

But he can play that role for the good of the team even if he has to sacrifice something of his natural game.

Not looking good, but we are only half way through the first day.

Going back a couple of pages, can we have a 'My old user name was ____ and now I'm____' thread? I think I know who most posters were in previous incarnations, Renton was Hobbes right? Not sure about Dotbum and Khay. -
Al gives the clearest indication yet that we are going back to 4-4-2 Shearer excited at the prospect of Nobby on the right Luque on the left and playing with Owen upfront.

Vaughan gone. 102-2 Bugger.
