Its not official until its been heard on Jimbos' radio.

Liverpool-friendly BBC still reporting there IS a 12 month get-out clause if he's not happy, Shepherd-friendly Jim White on Sky reporting there is definitley NOT a get-out. Someone is wrong.

Sima, didn't you used to be very pro-Souness? What flipped it for you? (not having a go by the way). -

Started as Nobby ends up as stockings!
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Baron von Fat's topic in General Chat
Bright red is a bit too tarty for my tastes. Is lilac the new black? Can't go wrong with a black bra / french knicker / stocking combo in my book. -
Who was/is Shearer's best strike partner?
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
Nice post. With Owen along side him it looks like a return of the Battering Ram / Whippet combo. -
*The official Solano returns? thread
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to paddy's topic in Newcastle Forum
He is also a very clever player who brings out the best in those around him. Its no coincidence that Dyer and Hughes were at their best when Nobby was beside/infront of them. -

I like Hawksbee & Jacobs. In a 'poor mans Mark & Lard' sort of way.

Sorry if its been discussed before but I've been at work all day and there is a massive number of new threads to wade through. I think I read on either the BBC website or ceefax that Owen has some sort of get-out clause in his contract. If he's not happy in a year of if someone bids a specific amout for him he can go? Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Give Souness/ Freddy a few games
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to peasepud's topic in Newcastle Forum
I've voted to give him more time. With Owen on board and attempts to bring Nobby back Souness must be looking to revert to 4-4-2 If this is the case and a deal with Villa can be concluded in time how many teams have a better front six than this: Solano--------Parker-----Emre---------Luque ----------------Shearer---Owen--------------- As far as Shepherd goes, I hold my hands up; I've given him a kicking on here as the summer has gone on and potential targets fell by the way side. He might talk before he thinks but you cannot fault his backing of managers or his ambition to bring in big names. I might even stop calling him Lard Lad. -

*OWEN ARRIVES IN NEWCASTLE FOR TALKS**
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to Optimistic Nut's topic in Newcastle Forum
I agree, he seems a very pleasant chap. But no matter how polite you are, you cannot string "No thank you" out for four hours.
