  1. http://goalshighligh...ic-cabaye-goal/ What a sexy bastard
  2. Almost put a bet on Cabaye to score. Not as bad as my prediction that Bent would score a hattrick against West Ham but so fuck. What a mint day. Cabaye is mint, Ben Arfa is mint, Marveaux is mint, Tiote is mint, Coloccini is mint. Europe is possible, the Carling Cup is possible. YES
  3. Mate's been trying to get me and him tickets for this but the site is fucked apparently. Reckons he just wants £25 off me for it which is a relief because £55 is robbery.
  4. Some interesting things about Ryan Taylor's effectiveness at LB.
  5. Excellent choice. How good are those early singles, man? Butler's guitar work is incredible.
  6. Fucking hell, I'll put my CV in next time, I think.
  7. Agreed. He basically laid the foundations for everything we're seeing with regards to spirit, togetherness and even getting some connection and respect back with the fans and the players. Started us on the way to staying up comfortably last season as well and really got the best out of a group of players who we thought were lost causes. Got Coloccini settled and playing, got Nolan scoring, brought Carroll along ridiculously well, got Barton to keep his head down and play well and that's before mentioning him walking the Championship, 5-1 against the Mackems, beating Arsenal away, steam rolling Villa, looking class in a suit etc.
  8. Why did they make him dress in his usual gear? Like I'm not going to know which one Usain Bolt is when he's surrounded by chubby white people?
  9. Cabaye's wife should be more worried, tbh. Cabaye is a man of true honour. I bet his reckless days are all behind him now.
  10. I would shag Hayley McQueen if she was serving me in Greggs, SSN has nowt to do with it. Those hairnets
  11. If you think it looks massive in small hands, it looks better between small feet.
  12. Aye, fair play to Pardew for his job. The team spirit can only be because none of the players know he's rattling their wives yet. Except Cabaye's because who would ever cheat on him?
  13. Give him a run out against Blackburn. When's their daft friendly in India? Was it through the break?
  14. My tradition is usually being dragged out because dressing up is really cool and crazy and this year, I might just stay in and make chilli.
  15. All about casks and all that bother on. At least according to the bloke in the Whisky shop when I asked him for a recommendation. I also leaned toward Knob Creek.
  16. Nowt constructive to say about it then? They've got a surprisingly decent record up here over the past couple of seasons but I'm going for a comfortable NUFC win. They've looked absolutely desperate every time I've seen them this season.
  17. Hayley McQueen is the best. Stevie can back me up. especially in her geps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAnatWOn4f0
  18. TBF to the kid, he only says "there's a chance" of him moving which there almost certainly is, not that he's declaring he wants to leave.
  19. Wooah there! I like the 'white on black' but i think i would prefer the 'black on white' one. Tapatalk is a waste of money as our mobile skin is better, without doubt. Agreed. The mobile version of this site is absolutely mint; easy to get around and quick as owt. I think it's my favourite part of the upgrade.
  20. If Russell Howard has no confidence in a punchline, he just puts on a daft accent and googly eyes and says something zany which leads me to believe he has no confidence in any joke he tells.
  21. Midnight City is an amazing song but the rest of the album can't really match it. Much like Gotye's album funnily enough. Love this.
  22. David Bowie - Toy Justice - Audio, Video, Disco 16 Horsepower - Yours Truly Gene Clark - No Other (finally own it) Different Skeletons - Secret Jeers On the subject of that last one, DS play some great garage rock. If you're into that kind of stuff, go to http://differentskeletons.bandcamp.com/ and give it a listen.
  23. Ooh, i bet riding a horse in satin takes away a lot of the aggravation.
  24. I don't think we'd have got a point under the circumstances of Sunday last season. Arsenal was a once in a generation freak match and I can only think of the Wigan game where we got a point at the death. The improved style of play and defensive organisation (also, we probably deserved to edge the Spurs game) shows progress for me. The Chelsea point during the relegation season was an anomaly over that whole year as well. We've had consistently good results and performances that are markedly improved on the majority of last year for me.
  25. I would think celebrating a point (or rather performance) like that is because it signifies some real progress compared to previous seasons. Forgot to quote there. Ah whey
