  1. Tell the former tenant to bugger off. The tenancy's concluded, he's been fairly dealt with, he doesn't need a copy of the agreement for anything other than trouble making. She should say there's nothing further to discuss as fas as she's concerned and that she won't be responding to any further messages.
  2. I actually have a very open mind on this, but I'm yet to be convinced. Basically my own experiences don't support it and there isn't any empirical evidence for it either, so I'm sceptical. I think there's a chance there might be ghosts in some form - whether it's the spirits of the dead is another matter - but I don't think the case for it is convincing at the moment. The truth behind most ghost stories is suspect at best, and eye witnesses tend to be credulous, superstitious, or there are specific factors at work (mood, lighting, setting, cultural references etc). Also a lot of eye witnesses tend to be drunks, crazies, feeble minded, superstitious, new age hippies, thickos etc which doesn't help. The Victorians were obsessed with trying to prove the evidence of ghosts, and nobody managed it.
  3. I think it's one of those faith vs fact type situations Kevin. To date there hasn't been a great deal of tangible evidence in support of the proposition. Being shitted up alone in the house late at night, and seeing your dead uncle clancy tapdancing down the corridor, doesn't count as scientific evidence by the way.
  4. Hey ho. Wasn't expecting much from this anyway.
  5. I just can't imagine doing that.....what do you say to the people walking in and out? "All right? Don't mind me, just washing me arse in the sink!"
  6. Its called a mirror I don't believe in ghosts, no. My wife does but then she is highly strung with an overactive imagination. * Fuck, I hope she doesn't see this *
  7. How come? Because I think Smith's absolutely finished. If he does start I hope he scores though I still reckon he can offer us something in the middle. Did well last season all be it in the Championship. Players who play aginast previous clubs always seem to have something extra about them so i think we could see a good performance from him. I think if we play Smith and Nolan they'll run rings round us. There's no place in the PL for two trundlers in midfield and I also think there's every chance he'll pick up a booking through mis-timed tackles. Hope you're right if he does play.
  8. more chance of harper scoring than smith more chance of Hughton scoring than Smith
  9. Doesn't post like this in the gaming forum does he Andrew? The kid draws all unecessary attention to himself by bigging himself up. The best one yet is him telling me he'd been on the phone to Peasepud and had got him to agree to ban me! Indeed, I'm on the phone to Peasepud now and he says that was a load of bollocks
  10. Who's still here from then though? Steven Taylor, Harper and Ameobi? The management and boardroom is completely different and there's no Shearer in any capacity either. Take your point but he might still be bitter about the club, notwithstanding that the protagonists have long gone. I get the impression he's not the sharpest tool in the box. On the flip side I think he's one of the more intelligent players, you can't be both totally thick and that opinionated surely. LeazesMag is the exception, not the rule. He might well be intelligent on the field but his mouth moves continually on and off it (he reminds of a howler monkey tbh). I'm guessing that the lack of coordination between his mouth and brain is what's got him into bother throughout his career.

  12. I expect he got a gift voucher for The Gap for xmas....
  13. Hopefully we'll have something to cheer about. Anything other than a thrashing and I'll be quite cheerful.
  14. A sudden strike via Belgium should secure the deal I can see sheep being burnt on motorways over this. General de Gaulle wouldn't stand for this blackmail, that's for sure
  15. It'd be criminal if he goes to Cardiff, and we haven't even tried to get him. On the other hand he may already have told the club to get stuffed, which would be fair enough considering his acrimonious departure first time around.
  16. A sudden strike via Belgium should secure the deal
  17. I don't know why Deschamps thinks HBA will play for him again. Marseilles have made a right mess of this.
  18. Fucking hell it's not school you know? Ayee You don't need to announce you're off to the bog man! Or the Bogside
  19. I thought Smith was supposed to a DM? Of course most people think he's shit but CH seems to rate him.... Maybe it'd be worth trying to revert Smith to a centre forward role, it might work. Yes, then we can drop him
  20. We don't know whats being done from our side though? Could be a simple case of we wont pay enough. OM do seem to saying conflicting things though, one min we have agreed next we haven't. We do know. We know we met all the conditions demanded by L'OM last week. Marseille started fucking about after that. Thats why HBA is refusing to train and is now in Newcastle. Anyone following this closely should know that. Aye I'm in agreement here. Full credit as well to us saying we'll not negotiate with the player until we have permission from his club. Marseille are cutting their nose off to spite their face tbh. As the french love to do. It's delicious fried with butter and garlic, mon ami
  21. this is true. Is it a reflection on the managers out there that only Bobby Robson recogised his best position ? He played against us for Coventry and I always thought Gordon Strachan was a nuggetbrain for playing him out of position too...................... When we bought him I was totally delighted, because I always thought he was a top player playing up front through the middle I have to congratulate you for your excellent judgement and perception. As I recall, most people on the web said Sir Bobby was off his rocker paying six and a half million quid for a player who was shit for Coventry City. In fact iirc the Coventry fans were laughing their socks off that they'd mugged the gullible Geordies, and not many had seen him play for CCFC or Norwich so couldn't contradict them. Good on you LM for not being one of the common herd. sarcastic twat I'm not lying BTW and did post my view at the time ....... this is what I don't understand about Bellamy. I had seen him play through the middle for Coventry and Norwich so why had they not ? I also remember him playing for Coventry against us, wide left, and wondered why Strachan was playing him in that role. The memory that sticks is that he was given the bird by NUFC fans for being a gobshite and demanding all through the game, but I liked that too. I guess because he was fast as fuck, they immediately thought "here's a winger". It's happened throughout his career and I bet it drives him crazy.
  22. No need to single Alex out tbf tbs tbs...
