I can't think of a better manager City could've realistically gotten than Hiddink, and I think he would've taken them to the CL if given a January to spend. I doubt Mancini will. If we were still in the PL and in a position to buy players, I'd have a look at some of City's lesser lights who will probably find themselves out on the cheap when the latest wave of oil bucks hits the January market. Bugger-me and Roque Santa Cruz will probably be shifted at the very least.
