  1. Brian Laws confirmed today. Pretty terrible appointment I'd say...going from the bottom of the Championship to the Premier League is always likely to be a recipe for disaster. I think Burnley fans will rue the day Coyle left for a long time.
  2. What do you think of Westerners who would do the same and say it's in the name of their religion too? I can name you a few if you like. Are you really so fucking stupid you don't understand what you're saying, or are you just being deliberately dense? What you are doing here is criticising people who are making a peaceful protest against something they do not believe is right...by saying that instead, they should do what the real terrorists do and take up arms against Britain. So you are simultaneously calling Islam backwards with your anti-gay anti-women rhetoric and then criticising its adherents for doing something the "modern" and "democratic" way, suggesting they should instead retreat to the stereotype of violence that they are so often tarred with as it is. Congratulations, Sheikh Leazes. You are doing the terrorists' recruiting work for them. Allah akbar. There's no winning with a dopey, doddering old cunt like you evidently and honestly I don't think you even know what you are arguing. Whenever anyone refutes something you say or even proposes an alternative viewpoint, you change your focus and throw up some of your usual bullshit, either about the Halls and Shepherd or about your personal dislike for the poster.
  3. for now You and sima, manc mag doesn't count Aye, Stevie'll be along to support you shortly and the two of you can hit out against the bad bad brownies all on your jack-jones. Two red-blooded Englishmen against the world. Well-adjusted people know that this kind of shit is an infringement on personal rights no matter how you paint it. sadly, you know absolutely nothing of me and my backround when you say this. In my view, well adjusted people view those who preach that we should put up with this bollocks as their "rights" as being foolish pc correct imbeciles. Exactly what 'bollocks' might that be, by the way? The 'bollocks' of being allowed to wear whatever you choose? Should we be banning band t-shirts next, or flat caps?

  5. well realistically, who in SSNs audience does give a shit? only two players apart from adebayor play in england and they are people I've never heard of. one for villa one for plymouth Fun fact about Moustapha Salifou, the Togolese Villa player - since he joined Villa in 2007, he's made 4 appearances for Villa and won 40 caps for his country.
  6. Has done nothing since the goal against Watford.
  7. Good riddance is right but once again it just shows how incompetent this club is, can't even get a simple sale concluded without some mystery. I'm reminded of the ridiculous Lucas Neill business last January.
  8. Sad but true. I'm sure we'll hear that in not too long. Getting Joey Barton the decent footballer from 3+ years ago would be like signing a new player. Getting Joey Barton the player we've seen in spits and spats since he signed for us more than 2 and a half years ago is not like signing a new player. Christ it's hard to believe that he's been here that long, surely even Owen was available for us more than Barton? I think Happy Face did the numbers, and yeah, Owen had a better rate of appearance for us.
  9. This is what I'm most afraid of. Hopefully we could at least get them to overpay but considering our track record with City, well...
  10. Probably Nolan as well, bottom three PL clubs would gladly take a punt on him at this point I'd think. Maybe even that Bolton return that was discussed earlier in the season. Colo might go as well. Pretty much anyone who was in our first team in the PL.
  11. i agree but will fatty pay the money? we have the players to win this league and do well in the prem we have better players than Wigan,Fulham,Birmingham,West ham,Hull,Pompey etc we have just got to get them playing to there best and i think we will do...........look to the future I don't agree. I think if we want to just stay up he will have to replace getting on for half the team he has sold, names mentioned earlier. Plus a quality striker. we have better strikers than the teams i just listed Do we fuck.
  12. Get rid as soon as possible. He's no good, hasn't been since Man City, belongs and has always belonged firmly in the "debit" column of this club. People saying "our best passer of the ball" must've forgotten what it is to watch him. Not hard considering his rate of appearance is worse than the much-derided Owen's.
  13. Just like after the 2006 WC, here's Joey to run his mouth about other people again when he's done fuck all since leaving Man City.
  14. Fair play to Harewood for getting on with the job after getting stick from the fans. Still not someone I want to sign permanently but it speaks well of his character that he wants to come back. Beckford, still haven't seen him play. He's in the goals in League One, and supposedly has some pace which our strikers lack, and at 1.5 mil wouldn't exactly be a lot of money to blow on a gamble. We could do worse.
  15. When you think of players in terms of "they had good games for us" rather than "they were good players for us" that says it all. And all I can remember of Emre is the goal against the Mackems, one goal against Reading that won us the game 3-2 I think, and getting sent off against Stoke on KK's return. Utter waster like most players of the Souness era and I wouldn't have him back if they were paying us to take him. Essentially he was the Turkish Luque.
  16. Disappointing and Lovenkrands/Pancrate accomplished absolutely nothing between the two of them, so we'd have been better off leaving Jonas and Harewood on. Ultimately it looked like they wanted it more and they deserved it. Nevertheless, this is hardly a 'bad' result.
  17. That was truly disgraceful. This ref wants shooting with shit, terrible for both goals.
  18. The last one was gash. The previous wasn't too terrible. Can we not just go back to something simple and classic like the 2005-2006 kit?
  19. I can't think of a better manager City could've realistically gotten than Hiddink, and I think he would've taken them to the CL if given a January to spend. I doubt Mancini will. If we were still in the PL and in a position to buy players, I'd have a look at some of City's lesser lights who will probably find themselves out on the cheap when the latest wave of oil bucks hits the January market. Bugger-me and Roque Santa Cruz will probably be shifted at the very least.
  20. We weren't fantastic but then we didn't have to be. Lita was especially terrible. Great defensive performance across the back four though. I would've liked to see their star Johnson in action. 12 points clear by Christmas?
  21. Fantastic cross and Shola is at it again! Bye bye you smog bastards, how long until your next manager?
  22. Someone really needs to put Butt down. It's for his own good.
  23. We've not been great, but we're winning, which is what matters. And barring a slip on snowy ground or something similar, I can't see them scoring.
