Sprouts are abominable. Anyone promoting them should be summarily shot. We have yorkshire puddings at any family gathering, so Christmas qualifies. Disagree, shite going forward. You can't defend a 1-0 lead vs Stoke at home for 45 minutes. Routledge should have come off for Guti, he was shite, and Ameobi on for Nolan, can't drop the captain though. Spot on, Nolan was useless except for a well taken penalty that Barton could've taken just as well, and Routledge gave us nothing. Jonas on the other hand was killing them down the left side and Tiote was one of our best players. Hughton's got that one wrong, no excuses. We should never have lost that game.

Bit of a dull one. These mackems-in-disguise have been predictably boring and feeble but we haven't really penetrated the way we did against Everton. I think Tiote has been brilliant again, HBA a little detached from the game, Barton has been good, Perch has been good, Williamson and Enrique excellent. Now that they're behind and they have to open up a bit I hope we'll start to wallop them.

Been a good performance. We could've been in a much better position if not for that early mix-up between Krul and the juggernaut known as Campbell, fat bastard that he is. We've got depth on the bench and Chelsea don't really, so let's hope we can keep this game tight and go for the win. More of the same please!

Well, this thread got de-railed fast and neither Kevin nor Leazes/ASM has posted. I predict the Mackems will turn on Titus (since they didn't want him anyway and he's an ex-Mag) but their vitriol will not even come close to Barton levels, and the press will hardly cover this story.

Maybe I have Parkyitis but I feel strangely optimistic about this one. We'll probably lose but I feel that I can expect something marginally better than the usual NUFC gutless performance against a top three/four club.

Brilliant game. I think if Tiote had been playing instead of Smith v. Blackpool we would've beaten them. He looks the business and as for Ben Arfa - what else is there to say? Let's not get too carried away but we've been crying out for a skillful player and it looks like we've got one. We've certainly got the graft as hard-working performances against Villa, Wolves and now Everton have shown and now it seems we've got the craft as well.
