Honestly, I cannot get worked up about a keeper, first choice or replacement. We're probably about to lose the best striker in Europe and can't seem to replace him. We've got a massive drop off in midfield quality beyond the first choice 3. Every time Schar plays he looks like he's injured about three times a game and his cover is Lascelles and then NOTHING. Get Ramsdale and fucking move on to sorting out the proper problems. You've got to pick your things to get worked up about or it'll send you round the twist. We're gonna sign Ramsdale on loan. FINE.

I followed this post up with another one saying I'd be delighted if we put a statement out putting them in their place and telling them to do one, but I don't realistically think that's going to happen. The middle ground is that we play hardball with them, IF we've accepted that the player is going. I'm not exactly advocating pleasantries, I'm on about setting them a hard figure and a hard deadline. More than anything else, I want us to be able to move on one way or another with the season.

Aye I think his career since leaving Arsenal has dealt him a bit of a reality check around his expectations though.
