The problem with Man City for players going there is that they can afford to make very expensive mistakes in the transfer market, and just give up on a player if it doesn't work immediately. Unless you're an absolute undeniable superstar, you're probably better going to a club that can't afford those mistakes. The other problem for players going there is they will almost certainly ALL think they're undeniable superstars.

Kalvin Phillips was the last one who went there with a similar profile to what Anderson has now, and it was a disaster for him. I don't want him to go there and fail btw. We sold him out of necessity and it's been an absolute disaster in the sense that we've clearly just on the cheap sold our best academy prospect in ages. But I still don't think he'd have had the chance to prove himself had he stayed here, and he might well find the same at Man City if he goes there in January and they sign the next shiny thing they see in the summer.

I think there was before the limit was applied. But if the limit is applied AND you're already over the limit, I don't think there is. But let me know if I'm wrong and I'll get to deleting. As it stands this is gonna be an image free/gif free forum for a bit.

Actually, it's not remotely clear how to delete these things. If I go into an old post and click edit, I don't get the extra bit at the bottom where I can see the image that was inserted into the post and remove it by clicking the X in the corner. My only option appears to be to backspace delete the image from the post (and that isn't working either). I think the option to see the insertion of the attachments has been altogether removed BECAUSE I'm over my limit. Instead of "add files" or whatever it said before, I have a drop down which says "Other Media", and when I click on it, I see this... Well I was gonna post a screenshot but I can't ... But basically all you can see is add image from URL or add existing attachment. I don't think we can delete these things anymore now that the limit has been added cos we don't have the functionality to even see the page that would allow us to either add or remove. So we're now just fully restricted to posting things we've posted before.

Any chance of you binning all of mine of centrally please @Andrew? I'm at 1400% of my allowance or something ridiculous like that. Thank you!

If we ever get there it'll be because we've spent our way there. That's just how it works, and that's fine. You can shave some of that off by good management making good decisions, but it'll still come from spending a lot of money.

We're miles away from having a squad that should be able to compete with the top 4 on a regular basis. That's why there's inconsistency. But because of what he's achieved in such a ridiculously short space of time, we're judging him by top 4 standards and "why can't we just be at our best and a total fucking juggernaut all of the time?" Look at the money Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man City have spent, and even they can't maintain those standards a lot of the time.

He's such a fucking piece of shit.
