  1. In with the digs, what an absolute prick. At least I've finally managed to get you to admit you had it better than the youth of today though, so congratulations on that front. And for the 100TH TIME, no one is blaming you.
  2. "Macca" these days looks like Steve Cram if he'd stopped looking after himself and became a pub landlord.
  3. I hope you're right. He'll rue the day he put out a statement calling the man who made him a liar.
  4. Was thinking the same this morning. Nearly December and he still only has one goal against a Championship side. I'm still assuming that eventually he'll come good, but all the more reason to be absolutely wallowing and doing fucking snow angels in his current misery.
  5. You're not being "blamed" for having had the benefit btw. But you are being questioned for not being prepared to see/admit to it.
  6. Fucking hell man, no. Not cos you had to. Because it was objectively easier because your money went further in those days. I was raised in a house where my dad worked on oil rigs and my mam didn't have to work, and we were very comfortable. Nice 3 bed semi. BMW, Golf GTI. Holidays every year, trips to disneyworld. It's just genuinely weird to not admit to the fact that, on average, people had it better then. Especially people coming up and trying to raise a family. You've got a genuine blind spot about this.
  7. Reform are paying the legal costs of any of the farmers arrested as well. No doubt Farage was there in his farmer cosplay gear again.
  8. I think we're getting it wrong here. I think this lad is Wykiki's age (he's saying he won't get his state pension til 67). And I assume he's just getting mixed up about which part of his pension he'll be paying NI on. Either way, he's wrong though.
  9. So difficult is it to find anyone prepared to speak out about Salah, RTE have had to bring a sea captain from the 1970s in to do it.
  10. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/nov/27/mansion-tax-richmond-residents-react-council-tax-rise-budget-2025 Tough break for the people of Richmond who live in £2m houses that "aren't mansions". If you can't afford the council tax surcharge, sell your house and be a millionaire instead.
  11. Carragher on Konate: it's getting to the stage now where you actually feel like you shouldn't be criticising him. You're watching something that's actually.... It's not nice to watch when you're seeing a player go through something like this.
  12. Kerkez getting the blame for the fourth goal too. Van Dijk allows the lad to just ghost past him. He looks and sees he's there, and doesn't even try to get back on terms. But aye it's Kerkez's fault.
  13. When you watch "Macca" and "Stevie G" as the two pundits on TNT, you actually see the bad side for Liverpool fans of having Liverpool friendly media. It's massively net beneficial to them in the long run, don't get me wrong, but when they're in bother it's a bad thing. It's the same to an extent for Man United. They're so loathe to criticise their former club that people end up getting an easy ride. Gerrard brushing past Salah's efforts for the second goal and blaming it on Kerkez, then when asked if Salah should be dropped, saying that "whoever is managing Liverpool at the minute would pick Mo Salah".
  14. Van Dijk for the first goal. Salah for the second goal. Konate for the third goal. Van Dijk for the fourth goal.
  15. The goal where they went 2-1 down last night. Salah beaten on the wing, no challenge, immediately just started jogging as soon as the lad went past him. He really seems to want to enjoy this final payday and no football match is gonna get in the way of that.
  16. When you get a couple of rapists together in one room, anything can happen.
  17. Isak back on the bench where he belongs.
  18. Liverpool getting beat already. Would expect them to come back and win this one, but still funny.

    Eddie Howe

Nah I think you're right. We were on the verge of relegation 4 years ago. We've now won a trophy and been in the CL twice and it's proper toys out the pram tantrums and wobblers cos we lost an away tie in Europe. Perspective has gone right out of the fucking window and the expectations are now ridiculous. At one point last night we were 4th in the CL and had it stayed like that we'd have gone ahead of one of Arsenal or Bayern tonight if one of them beats the other by a couple of goals. We've got an away problem at the minute, but that is genuine miracle worker stuff from Howe and his team. And we're in ANOTHER Carabao QF. There are gonna be setbacks, but in the grand scheme of things, our current away form is a relatively minor one which I have absolute confidence will get fixed.
  20. It's really not my job to work out how. But if nothing is done then more and more of the resources will go to these few hundred individuals, and the rest of us (including governments) will get poorer and society will continue to fall apart. These people literally have "fix an entire country" money. And they're getting exponentially richer.
