1. Not something I can really understand after what they did to her kid. Fair play to her though.
2. Roll-call. Who's going then? I'll be there. Trent from 1ish?
3. A fucking X-box would be your priority if you won the lottery? NERD!!!
4. "Heaven's Gate". I've just finished his book where he goes back to catch up with some of the loonies he met on the TV series. It's pretty good.
5. IIRC [Place any state here] is home to quite a few white supremacist groups. The NY place was nice too - shame about the link. Views over Central Park and located on 5th Avenue. $17m though. 63723 63724 To be fair, the East and West Coasts are relatively unaffected, but pretty much everywhere else is fair game.
6. Here's the NY one by the way. Got it to work: http://realestate.nytimes.com/+comshare/vu...p?Lid=44-815582

8. How the fuck can anyone really believe that? It's quite obvious how much this is hurting him! 63716 Aye that's out of order like. I think he's basically a decent bloke who's got his faults but who really wanted to succeed in this job. I think he now knows it's too big for him and that he doesn't know what to do to put things right.
9. As I said to Gemmill ........ about Newcastle. Shame that everyone hadn't called Souness correctly, on the basis of his track record and how he treated Bellamy, as myself and some others did, we may have got rid of him instead you know .... 63592 I don't think anyone really thought he was the answer Leazes, apart from a few divvies (two of whom sit behind me at the match). He was an unpopular choice and has subsequently failed to win people over. What particularly bugs me is that, had he kept Bellamy and Robert happy for just last season, I honestly think we would have won the UEFA Cup. But he couldn't even manage that. The only reason I, albeit grudgingly, gave him a chance is because: 1) I thought we were stuck with him for a while so we might aswell try and get behind him. 2) We were desperate for a bit of stability at the club. 63708 3. You thought he would get us into the CL.
10. They're practically pushing him out of the door apparently, they want Dave Bassett or George Burley instead Fucking stupid Pompey fans on the local radio last night reckoned Redknapp is a double-agent and only went to Scum to relegate them... 63709 Do you reckon they were serious like?
11. piece of piss 63610 Beat me to it! Guitar is easy; it's for gays and lezzas Leave the drums (and dancing) for real men 63683 Hermer! 63692 *spins, does a Michael Jackson 'Heee' squeal and produces 'the bird'* *sits down to rest his gammy, aged - old - call it what you want - knee* 63703 I've got a mental image of the granddad out the Simpsons.
12. I could never do an F or a G7 .. I can now but I try never to play those if I can help it, out of sheer hatred. It's not too difficult but it does take a fair bit of practice/dedication if you don't have the natural ability (which I don't, and my dedication is usually lacking..) Worth having a go though. 63693 Retard. I was helped by the fact that I'm left-handed, playing guitar right-handed, so the hand that does all the difficult stuff is my "trained" one. Made things a lot easier starting out and goes some way to explaining my incredible guitar-playing abilities.

14. Toss-up between this place: http://realestate.nytimes.com/Sales/View_Ulisting.asp And this one: http://realestate.sfgate.com/RealEstate/Sa...p?lid=105-23711 The San Francisco one's a bit tacky-tastic like, but it's half the price of the New York one - only $9m. Bargain...and I could buy a smaller place in New York an'all with what I've got left.
15. Aye it does make sense. There's a lot of ex-England rugby players that think that Woodward had the best squad of players by a mile at the WC and contrived to make very hard work of winning the thing - not quite winning it despite, rather than because of him, but definitely making harder work of it than it should have been. I suspect that there's an element of envy with some of these players that they weren't involved, but I don't think others' opinions of him are as high as his own.
16. Enjoy your curry, Leazes, and let's see where this weekend leaves NUFC eh? Listening on the way in to the radio and they were saying Allardyce is being lined up - now as much as I don't think he's the answer, I did start to think about how it might be nice if we got someone in that could get us organised and playing like a team. Obviously I still love Souness and think he'll get us into the Champions' League though.
17. Southampton have only got themselves to blame after the Clive Woodward/Simon Clifford shambles. Woodward has said he wants to take over from Redknapp - personally I hope the bloke does, and falls flat on his face.
18. In that case, have you any idea who wrote it cos we could do with him as manager.
19. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if they were. Mind, would you actually like to have the job of pulling the leaver? I wouldn't. 63386 That reminded me of a classic Sid the Sexist quote: I pumped her beaver with me lever. I filled her full of man-fat. Glad to see them getting lengthy sentences, the scumbags.
20. It's GREAT on there today like. 63315 The post match (over)reaction thread is superb. 63323 Get Obi over here tbh. 63326 The bloke's a legend.

22. You're absolutely right. He's my hero too, and I'm already starting to not like him after his performances this season. If he fails as a manager (which he will, seeing that we're Newcastle) then he'll no doubt lose his legend status, and I'd hate for that to happen. 63267 Exactly He's too 'close' too involved at the moment. He needs time out, time away from NUFC when he hangs up his boots. I'd much prefer him to take a coaching role somewhere and work his way up.... Then he can return to us in a few years time much more prepared for the task.... then hopefully it will work out, at least he'd be better prepared with the skills and experience to take the job on. I mean in any other career, would a top management role be given to a complete novice? NO of course not. I dont want him or us to go through what im sure will go predictably, horribly wrong 63278 I don't see Shearer as the type to start at a lowly club though. I think if he wants to be a manager, he'll want to be straight in the big-time.
23. But FS knows that we all want a Geordie manager, and we all want Shearer, remember? 63272 I think he really does believe this like. I can just imagine the look of smugness on his enormous moonface at the press conference and the "Geordies understand Newcastle United" comments.
24. aw sorry to get your hopes up snakey! May i ask what the problem is with your old 'member' though? Is it faulty or just past its best? 63255 *coughs and splutters into his coffee* Only joking mon cher, the weapon is in full working order; primed and loaded with full-metal-jacket at all times!!! 63260 After the "smooching" episode yesterday, I've taken to reading all your posts in Harold Bishop's bumbling voice. 63261 You had better promise not to laugh if I come and meet you on Sat as I look like him as well!!! 63262 Are you defo coming then? I promise not to laugh. Is it The Trent anyway where we're going?
