  5. Im a huge fan of katherine heigl but I thought that was unbelieveably shite.
  6. The Condemmed - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443473/ As far as dumb action flicks go, its not bad. (and its similar to battle royale).
  7. This bit make me laugh Am I a bad person? Seriously, when did Chris Morris start writing for the Sun?
  8. I have a big mug for my tea and a put 2 level teaspoons of sugar in it. Cant stand the taste of tea without sugar.

  10. What was the Dunkirk scene like, I hear its fantastic. Filmed on Redcar beach. Superb imo, technically and artistically. I can't remember the name given to those long, unbroken shots where the camera pans around (I'm sure HF does mind), but the one in this case is simply mind boggling. Difficult to know from the film if that was an accurate representation or he was going slightly mad though, either way it was brilliant. I don't know what it's called. If it's what I'm thinking of it was pioneered by James Cameron on Titanic where the camera swings out from above the ocean to within a whisker of Jack and Rose on the tip of the Titanic and back out over the ocean again. At least that was the first CGI shot to perfect it. The Longest Day and The Sound of Music have similarly impressive helicopter shots done manually. I've never seen Atonement so I might be completely misunderstanding what you mean. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Ark

  13. Mr Vampire http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089371/ At first glance appears to be a really naff film. dodgy subtitles too. but i enjoyed it - sort of a zombie/ghost/vampire/kung fu comedy action film. Well worth a watch if you wanna delve a little deeper into asian cinema.
  14. Probably a bit late to have a whip round rob....
  15. The Woodsman http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361127/ Kevin Bacon is excellent in this. very creepy too, especially when he asks the young girl to sit in in his lap.

  18. Nee need for that like. On a completely random note, my granda was in the royal navy during the war and once told me a few stories about seeing great whites in the indian ocean. Canny that mind. i thought so, especially as he (to my knowledge) never talked much about what he did during the war.
