I'm not a tax person but presumably you'll pay emergency tax until they change your code to the correct one. Might take 2 weeks, 2 months or longer.

Slightly off topic but.....I tried cubase and found it completely useless due to latency.

Excellent player - but its almost as if hes had the 'flair' trained out of him. Definately a better all round forward but hes lost that something he had at everton.

Then get something like this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/104108 Divx means it can play .avi files. USB means you can connect a usb device (such as a hard drive) Upscaler means it will 'upscale' the standard definition signal to the 'high-def' resolution. (it wouldnt mean your sd is suddennly hi-def but it will give a sharper picture). It's discontinued and the others don't have usb on them. Cheers anyway Yeah i spotted that but you should be able to buy something very similar at your local asda.

Maybe the ebay version come with a hard drive???? Well spotted Laz, I wasn't to sure. What do you reckon http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...;category=16178 Well sounds like a good idea but.... What kind of tv do you have wacky? is it a shiny new lcd or plasma? does it have a usb socket on it? if so - you might be able to connect a regular external hard drive with your stuff on it. Would you actually use it to encode stuff? by that i mean, are you gonna download stuff from the net thats already encoded to .avi or are you gonna record stuff from the tv (like a sky+ box) and then encode it to .avi? if your not - bit of a waste tbh. £90 for a 750GB external hard drive is good value for money - it will take a while to fill that.

You can turn all that shite off - but your right, there are a few things that bug me as well that i dont appear to be getting used to. like if you copy a file to a folder it automatically puts it in alpha order so you then have to scroll back through the folder in order to access it. its also very slow in transferring files from one location to another.

Ive got a pair of brogues in the softest leather ive ever known. However - i dont think ive worn then in at least 4 or 5 years. I see them as a very, very formal shoe.

Theres been a few updates but no sign of a proper service pack. But if you can 'acquire' a copy and can go back to xp if you dont like it - then go for it.

I like how the '56 year old' bloke is a 'dad of three' but the 45 year old woman is a 'furious gran'.

Its well worth a watch but its not for everyone. It has a kinda 'budget' feel to it and it does get a little slow in the middle of the series.

i disappeared to the shitter last week for a good twenty minutes and when i came back my team was in a meeting. Boss 'weve waited and then started without you' me 'Sorry i had to take care of something urgent' (thats me trying to be polite) 'so where you been'? (Quietly) 'dropping the kids off' she says 'you dont have any - i want to know where youve been' and all the attendees stop and look at us me 'For a cack!'. Cue 10 minutes discussion (at taxpayers expense) about toilet roll and bowel movements
