Finished last job end of March, went on JSA until May, handed P45 into new employers. Tax code wasn't sorted and I was on emergency so I rang up and requested a new P2 to be sent out which sorted that out but I'm still owed money. I asked my employers to see if they actually sent it in and they said they did it immediately so I can't really say anything more there! I've just rang up the tax office there and she told me to send my part of the P45 (from JSA) into them so they can do it themselves BUT, I lost it (probably binned it). Do I just ask for a P46 form from my employers and fill that in and that will sort? Just thought it would be quicker and cheaper asking on here rather than ringing them cunts back up!
