  1. I think it's obvious now that any purchasing of our club for the next couple of years is unlikely. With the global recession in full swing I would think there's little hope on any astute businessman/group spending the amount of cash needed to end our torment with Ashley... we can look forward to at least two years of his shit and the feeling of being in limbo. That's what I've resigned myself to anyways.
  2. I remember watching him when he played for Peterborough, always looked good, I'd snap him up given half a chance.
  3. I should think Bono's saving some kids for Christmas
  4. Aye, Merry Chrimbo Bob and you all, hope you all have a good one. ... me, I've got a man cold I'm trying to get rid of before I have to cook the turkey for my parent's on Christmas Day. Let's hope our club's luck is better in the new year
  5. It's bugging me the way the press are now attempting to help him wheedle his way back in, I fucking hate the bloke!
  6. And probably both more attractive to potential buyers.
  7. How many chances do you want to give the bloke? Personally I want rid, asap regardless of what he does from this point on - I trust him less than I ever trusted Fat Freddie (amazingly).
  8. He knows he can't cut it at a big club, still he's not a bottler like O'Neill, at least he had a crack at us.
  9. Oh dear Got a point though, we ARE better than this

    Big time charlie, tbh.
  11. If it was us there would be uproar, but everyone knows we are the darlings of the media I really wanted him to stay, til the end of the season at least. And see, Fergie was right after all - no Guv'nor there, just a Big Time Charlie.
  12. I don't have it in for him, I just don't lick his arse for what was an average job that he's done since he came back and the timing of his walk out, the fact that people come online every day still going on about it like their wife has just died I find embarrassing, that's not me saying that I don't appreciate what he done for us when he was a manager here last time but that doesn't mean I'll back him if I think he's wrong. As for Ashley, I'm happy with his long term vision for the club and I'm even happier with the standard of players that came in in the Summer, not all of them have worked out but you have to expect that however I think the likes of Jonas, Coloccini and Bassong are quality signings, I couldn't give a toss about net spend as plenty of clubs have blown big money this Summer but I wouldn't swap any of Villa or Sunderlands Summer signings for the 2 Argies we brought in and probably not even Bassong. I find it baffling that people pat Keegan on the back for walking away claiming the squad hasn't been strengthened enough yet claim we would have another 10-12 points on the table if he still was here, at the same time the club shouldn't have signed any players that he didn't want but as adults they should sit down and sort their differences out and as far as I'm aware the club offered him this chance but he didn't bother turning up to the meeting and instead chose to resign. I would have been happy for him to stay and I think we would have had a decent season if he had done, I'm not going to lose any sleep though over the fact that he decided to walk out on the managers job for the second time and I'm more interested in seeing the club get back on track than feeling sorry for someone who's looking for £8 million out of the club. Thanks for your response. Incidentally I'm right in thinking you were 12-17yrs old during Kevin's first stint as manager? Something like that. Don't worry bud, there's help for you out there. Jesus wept. On a serious note though Bagg, it's understandable that you're venting your anger towards the thing that caused you heartache as a kid. It was a big shock to us all when Kev went the first time round, you just need to redirect that anger at the real source of your despair. Psychological trauma is no joke and can lead to all manner of problems later on in life so I'd honestly consider perhaps speaking to a counsellor.

  15. Baggio, serious question, can I ask why it is that you have it in for Keegan so much? I don't understand why anyone would defend Ashley over Keegan at all
  16. To be honest you can't blame any of the players going out of contract if they stall things, would you tie yourself to a club in limbo and on the verge of relegation?
  17. You need to be careful, there are Spurs fans out there who might call you obsessed...
  18. Fucking hell, this commentary is making me want to cough every 5 seconds!
  19. True I guess, for me most things are preferable to Ashley right now. Something else mentioned in another report about the same guy was that he would be very interested in returning Keegan to post. Keegan isn't the be all and end all. As much as I love the bloke I don't think any buyer should feel forced to bring him back in. In fact i'd hope whoever buys us doesn't bring him in as i'd like to see us move on. I agree that he's not the be all and end all, without a doubt had he not have been brought in by Ashley things may have been different but he may be the best we could hope for as thing go at present and I'd be sure he'd be very tempted to retake the role no matter what division we were in. If he came in I wouldn't be upset.
  20. Yeah, I've got a bad feeling On a side note, just seen Big Al on MotD, that fella needs a hair cut!

  22. Biggest pile of shite I've read for a while, lie upon lie upon lie. Trying to get the sympathy vote again is he? Must have paid the 'interviewer' an nice hefty wedge to help with Christmas to get this drivel anywhere near being published. Fat Cunt.
  23. From the Northern Echo (and other sources) Apparently from Bradford and with a personal fortune of £40m...
