Reading's summer transfers: In:- Joe Hart (£2.3m) Jordan Spence (£3m) Luis Jiminez (£5.25m) Michael Mancienne (£1.8m) Out:- Nee fooker wants to buy any of my players. Didn't think Jiminez would sign but happy to have an attacking option. Wishing I hadn't signed Gibson last season now, he's complained because he hasn't been a first team regular. He won't be now that I have Karacan & Jiminez ahead of him in the pecking order.

He's looking good in the friendly against Accrington so far. Wondering whether to sign Mancienne or not for £2.2million...might have to leave it as I already got Spence. Slapped a cheeky £5million bid for Affelay as Galatasaray are in for him. Not holding out much hope, but I'm crying out for a midfielder who can pass. Gibson is best at that and his passing is only 14.

Won the league with Reading and was given £14million to play with. So far have signed Jordan Spence and Joe Hart (only paid £2.3mil!). Going for Ryan Bertrand and Michael Mancienne next. Hoping Juve will send me some midfielders as they've just become linked with the club. A lot more confident about the season now that I have a decent keeper, Federici was appalling.

Tuscan garlic and marsala pasta. Red peppers fried in marsala wine, plenty of fresh garlic and parmesan cheese and then single cream to make the sauce. Add a healthy dose of spinach in there too. Absolute magic. I like to think I make a pretty mean bolognese too, but then again everyone has their own spag bol that they swear by.

For fuck sake. Simon Church has been in lethal form, scored 7 goals in his last 5 games (currently on 26 goals from 24 appearances!) and Mick fucking Gooding has caused him to feel pressured by public expectation. Well done Mick, aside from Hunt my other strikers are Long and Rasiak. Wanker.

As things stand squad-wise, we'd do well to stay above the bottom three.

Thought I'd try a Reading game. Currently 29 games into my first season. Top of the league with 60 points, 4 ahead of West Brom. Signed Manuel Ruz (RB) for 200k then had to wait until Jan to get more money. Matejovsky (who was brilliant) wanted to leave, so sold him to West Ham for £5million. Just bought Daron Gibson to fill the void for £2.1million. I have Jordan Spence on loan as my defence is awful, as is my keeper. Simon Church has been incredible for me. Currently has 20 goals from 21 starts in the league! Very erratic form though, but thankfully the same can be said for the rest of the top teams in the league so far which is why I'm top!
