Has he been worse than the two B's at the back for us? 66825 Wouldn't have a clue as I've not seen enough of him this season. One of my mates was saying in the pub that on current form that it's the weakest centre back pairing that France have had for years. 66827 Yet France only let in 2 goals in qualifying for the World cup, although when I watched them it was Boumsong partnering Thuram. As for Silvestre, we could probably get Distin for the same money and he's a far better player... 66893 Younger too!

I think the mathematical calculation they use is: 66884 In Shola's case I'm guessing they forgot to carry the '1'.

Seems like he'll sign for Real anyway

I tried to change me avatar but the pic I want is too big (as in space not size). Anyone know how I can have it so it wont take up so much room? I'm hopeless with PC's

Yep, black sky here too and I'm about 15 miles further south from you. What's more, I heard it! I was up seeing to the nipper at 6am this morning and heard a tremendous low boom which was preceeded immediately by a vacuum. Enough to make the windows rattle I actually thought it was distant thunder and thought nothing more of it.... Until I turned the news on! What's more, I've got to drive up there tomorrow morning to go to work and they're reporting at the moment that the roads are all likely to be closed for fear of further explosions. As for the north/south divide, frankly that's absolute bollocks. I seem to remember the gas explosions in Gateshead and North Shields some 13 years ago hit the national news, yes they didn't take over the TV schedules but then, although there was always a threat from the IRA, we weren't living in the same terrorist climate that we are these days. An explosion, wherever it is in the country is going to demand national TV coverage unfortuntately. 66751 So you don't think the media in this country is a bit London-centric? It's pretty natural really, and doesn't bother me too much, but it's a fact! Stopping scheduled TV for a story like this is a complete over reaction imo, and it wouldn't have happened if it had been in Boro. 66757 The explosion didn't happen in London though did it?

Only got 5 hours sleep an arl Me dad and his mate drove me down to a nearby airfield (they go flying you see) for a fry up in the cafe, and outside you could see the smoke billowing up Of course an incident like this is going tog et coverage lads, it's a serious explosion, it's hardly as if someone set off a firecracker is it? I'm sure the people who were injured are truly sorry that MOTD was put back. Bliddy hell they sky's still filled with smoke like

Depends how much we have to shell out for Joaquin. If it's something silly like 10 mil + he wont be worth it, as I seriously doubt we can afford to keep splashing the cash around. If he doesn't have long left on his contract though and we can get him for a smaller sum then go for it, he'd be an excellent buy if we get him though as he;s a great player, I just don't think we can afford him right now.
-
Well the sky here is black and we're 40 miles away from where it happened (I slept through the explosion, was knackered since I was training last night)! Hope they get the fires out, it's causing havoc with transport and it aint doing our air much good.

A.I. Shite acting, shit plot, shit storyline, shit directing, shit special effects, shit idea, shit length (over 2 fucking hours ). Should've ended but then they decided to bring in aliens to add about another 1/2 hour. I want those 2 hours of my life back.

1- (if Souness was managing it) Given, Taylor, Boumsong, Emre, Owen 2- I live in Reading so don't really know 3- Owen, but we have been missing Dyer's pace this season (and the last...and the last... ) 4- Moore. What was the point? 5- Great shot-stopper, loves the toon, gives a shit unlike quite a few players. Not too hot on penalties though. When I saw Harewood last at the mad stad he was subbed 20 mins in...

Good gawd it's like I'm schizophrenic all of a sudden

If there's one person who SHOULD be on 8ok p/w, it's Given. If we lose him for a likely shit fee, we only have ourselves to blame if we further slip up in the league.
